Excellent life time Amazonian experience - Tour agent was in contact with us and said that pickup time is 4pm. At the morning they contacted us and said that pickup will be at 4:30. At 4.30 driver contacted us and said that he is coming. Car was very good and we quickly reached the port. It turned out that it is just us two on the tour. We met Antonio, who was not speaking english at all, maybe just a few words. Our 10 words in spanish helped us to understand each other but believe me you don't need to know any language to understand what is going on. Real part of the tour started at 5:00. It was very small boat for 4 person. We drove to the next river bank. It very spectacular view because of excellent sunset. Behind the place where we were swimming with porpoises day before. Manaus was visible behind the trees. We started piranha finishing there. A lot of piranhas. We were not able to catch something, they were eating the meat very quickly. Our guide catched one very big piranha, we made photos and videos like it was us who catched it :D. Then we let the fish back in the waters and went to look over alligators. Sunset was continuing and it was spectacular views again. We seen slots on the trees, birds and anacondas leather on the water. After dark it was cloud of mosquitoes over us and repellent was not helping much. We sprayed it over our face and fingers and everywhere but they bited our fingers and face anywhere. Luckily we were wearing long sleeve/pants. Antonio gave us some torch and we started to seek for alligator. We found one quickly. Baby one. We went near and Antonio wanted to catch it by his hands. My wife quickly got mad about it and asked to go. So we continued to drive and look over the alligators. There were alligator eyes everywhere. Trees were fool of eyes of birds as well. On the way back we drove through river in the dark and it was like driving through crystal lake to the city of lights. Sky was open and everything was very beautiful again. We've seen bigger vessels and our small one was better better because we really enjoyed the views. at 19:00 we were back in port. Some other car took us back to hotel. Big thanks to Antonio. Despite not talking in english he was very gentle and done his job very well. Some reviewers were complaining that it is not Solimoes river. I am not sure what river it was (probably it was Rio Negro because water was black) but it makes no difference. Piranhas and alligators were there. According to what I heard solimoes has much more mosquitoes than Rio Negro and mosquitoes are real issue. Thanks for the great tour. It was lifetime experience of real amazon river at the night. Recommended to everyone.

WILD! - Wow! Caught 2 piranhas and the guide caught 2 caimans with his bare hands! We took a few pics and then released all the animals. Wild experience! I highly recommend it because it's unique to the Amazon. Also--very beautiful to see the sunset and be out at night with all the wild jungle night sounds. Be sure to use lots of bug spray, though, as I got bit.

Nice half day tour - Nice half day tour - I caught a fish and we were able to get close to a baby alligator. We were a small group of 5, which was great, as I don't like big tours. The guide/pilot did not speak English at all though despite booking an English speaking tour. Fortunately, there was someone on the tour who spoke English and was willing to translate in English.

Great way to experience Amazon river - It's a great experience for my pre-cruise tour. Coordinated to pick up at the cruise ship tender terminal and we head straight out to fishing. Enjoyed the scenic boat ride to see the meeting of the waters, indigenous village by the river, and of course piranha fishing. Amazon Amazing Tours is great in communication, I received What's app message and call to confirm meet up place and time. They arranged English guide and the local guide to take us to find the right place to fish. The local guide, (sorry, I forgot his name) is very good, very helpful. In the dark, he spotted the caimans and quietly drive the boat closer to pick it up with his bare hands. We had a good time.

Guide didn’t speak English - Overall fun experience. Guide didn’t speak any English. We were a group of 3 plus a solo, local traveler who spoke a little English and helped translate. Tour started quickly with piranha fishing but we didn’t catch any. Guide caught a couple and showed us the teeth. We did catch some other fish tho. Once it got dark we continued to the alligator hunt. Guide caught 2 baby caimans. With the mouth taped, we were able to hold and feel the caimans.

Complete and absolute absence of communication - Complete and absolute absence of communication from Tour Agency. They don't answer the phone nor their chat service in any language. Hotel tried to call them many times and so did I. Good luck if you need to cancel your reservation. It will be absolutely impossible. I did not want to cancel so I waited from 2h40 to 4h00 and they did not show up. Tour was supposed to begin at 4pm. We got back to our room and got a call at 4h20 PM saying they had finally arrived at the lobby. We had given up by this time and even started to make other plans but we ran downstairs and went on that tour. Our guide was good, friendly and knowledgeable. We knew he had nothing to do with how badly the tour was managed. We caught many different fishes, not always piranhas and the alligator watching tour was fantastic. Our guide managed to make our tour a lot better after a bad start.

Terrible package - This package is very terrible. They don’t go and fish at solimoes river and They just stopped at Negro River and restaurant. And then we went and fishing there. We complained that we bought the package with fishing at solimoes river. However, they didn’t tell us anything about that. Guide can’t speak in English too. They were finding the alligators at night, but we didn’t see any alligators. They can’t find anyone. It is not worth with price. It was absolutely terrible.
