10/10 recommendation - Kids loved the sleigh ride. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the mine and the area. They provided blankets for us. And kids really enjoyed roasting s’mores after.

Budget-Friendly Good Time - We had perfect weather on this bluebird day and all the people (tour guide & other riders) were all very friendly. Will definitely keep following Country Boy Mine on FB to track any new attractions as the location was a nice spot away from the busyness of the other options nearby and I look forward to booking with them in the future as they expand.

Our tour guide Keith was... - Our tour guide Keith was amazing. Took time to talk to the kids and answer all question’s. Was one of the high lights of our vacation. My son said he was coming back on his 8th birthday to be a gold minor with Keith.

Fun Adventure with the Kiddos - It was a great little adventure on a cold wintry day with the kiddos: ride on a sleigh behind a monster truck, visit to an old miners cabin, cooking s’mores over a fire pit, and a slide down an old ore chute. Plus the views were beautiful!

Wonderful excursion - Didn’t know what to expect, but our group had a terrific time. John is an excellent guide. Beautiful views, amazing history and the sleigh was very comfortable. We even got s’mores at the end. Highly recommend this

Great time at the mine - Had a great time and our grand kids learned a lot about mining and the early miners in the area. Made smores and went sledding after the ride and got to pet the burros.
It's not a long sleigh ride, but was a good length for kids and the other activities kept them entertained.

Informative mining tour - Giving 3/5 stars because I had assumed this was more of a scenic sleigh ride when it was actually a 7 minute ride up a hill and then back down. The tour guide Keith was incredibly informative about the mining operation. If you’re looking to learn more about the mining that took place in the area, I recommend this tour. If your are looking for a scenic ride, choose something else. This is an opinion of one, but $35 per person for a 25 minute tour felt steep for what we came away with. I think $15-20 would be more appropriate, especially since there was no sledding or smores offered.
