Highlights

This was amazing! These bikes allowed us to fully enjoy not only the waterfalls, but the surrounding nature as well. The experience we had on these bikes was way better than what a car could provide. The shade of the trees, the cool breeze of riding, the smell of the outdoors, the ability to stop almost anywhere for that perfect picture or view. One of the best features, not having to fight for parking with everyone else! You literally ride up to the bike rack, park the bike and head to the falls you’re at. No parking hassle! We almost picked the 2.5 hour time, but decided on the 3.5 hour. Give yourself time to hike, time to walk around, time to ride, time to enjoy! After the amazing experience we had, I don’t think I could ever go back to just a car ride for this journey! Great experience! Way better than driving around in a car, and there’s no fighting for parking spaces. The bikes are easy to ride and the cars on the road give you plenty of space. A fun and easy way to see beautiful waterfalls - This was a lot of fun! The waterfalls are breathtaking, the e-bikes make it easy to quickly cover a lot of ground without getting tired out, and you don't have to deal with parking at each site. 3 FYIs: 1) You ride on the 2-lane scenic highway (but it isn't scary). 2) There is a short walk at each stop with some uphill parts. 3) You can stop for a snack or meal at one of the sites.

Amazing Experience! - The best thing about this excursion is you are able to choose how much or how little you do! You have the opportunity to hike, trails, look at waterfalls, swim in different areas, or just bike around if that’s more your speed! Overall a great experience!

Awesome for adults. - This was super fun. No hassle with parking. E Bike Rentals are at the back of the lot to the right. I would caution there are a few small sections where drivers are a little scary passing you. I would only recommend for those who are comfortable on a bike and adults. I was glad my kids/teens were not with us. Waterfalls are beautiful and easy hikes from the parking lots.

A memorable day - The whole day was fabulous! We did the 3 1/2 hour e-bike tour and were able to see 4 of the 6 falls in the Gorge. The ride was so fun and the motorized assistance made for easy uphill climbing. The Falls are incredible and visiting on a bike made the day more memorable and convenient. Highly recommend!

Half day was perfect - We were able to see 7 waterfalls with the time given. Operators were great during set up and gave amazing directions to optimize time. You will need a moderate level of physical fitness to climb the trails behind some of the waterfalls but I Would definitely recommend.

E-bike the waterfalls! - Excellent staff. Whole experience is done at your leisure with a map and written directions. The waterfalls were beautiful and well worth the hikes. The staff that helped us was wonderful. Pleasant and helpful and made sure we felt confident with our bikes before letting us go.

Highly recommended! - My husband and I had a great time zipping through 5 out of 6 waterfalls on rented e-bikes. E-bikes were easy to operate but it took me a couple of minutes to get used to using the throttle control and handling its weight (the bikes were quite heavy compared to road bicycles). We chose the afternoon slot on a weekday in early August, and it worked out well - we had plenty of time to check out some bakeries, coffee shops, and NW 23rd Ave areas and have lunch in Portland before heading over to the afternoon tour. The meeting spot (a dirt lot) was easy to find with plenty of parking spaces available. The tour organizer stayed in the parking lot while we enjoyed our excursion, so we felt pretty safe leaving our rental car behind. The 6th waterfall on our tour agenda (we got a handout with instructions) - I believe Horsetail Falls - was a bit hard to find as it was further away than we thought. We stumbled upon this waterfall on our way to Hood River right after the tour, however. We really liked this waterfall as there were fewer people there, and it is located right off of Historic Columbia River Hwy. We were able to sit, relax, and soak our feet in the water for a while. So if you want to cover all 6 waterfalls, you have to pick up some pace and not do any long hikes at one location. But overall, we highly recommend this tour!

Fun ebike beautiful waterfall experience! - Ebikes were fun. Really didn't have to pedal at all. The waterfalls were beautiful. Couldn't have visited all 6 waterfalls in 3.5 hours time without the ebikes. 3.5 hours (half day) was still a rush. Concerns were sharing the one lane road with the cars and where to chain up the bikes at each stop. Self guided webpage was a basic map.
