Simply Amazing - The tour was amazing. Seeing a shipwreck, coral reefs and fish up close was breathtaking. If you are tall or claustrophobic this wouldn't be ideal for you. The submarine was cool, and the pilots were entertaining and informative. It was very comfortable and we had no reason to feel terrified.

Was able to see many coral and fishes - One of the best experiences I have ever had. Xario's funny commentary along with Franz helpful personality made my day. I will definitely suggest doing this tour when visiting Barbados

Amazing hosts, amazing trip - I am originally from Barbados so I have known about the Submarine but I wanted to be a tourist on this vacation. It was amazing but the submarine was the icing on the cake. It exceeded my expectations mainly thanks to Xario and Franz. They were engaging, informative and entertaining and live below the sea was out of this world beautiful. I am claustrophobic but not once did I feel confined or unsafe. I have been recommending it to everyone. Keep up the good work

Corals, fish, shipwreck and entertaining - Me and my friends went and we had such an amazing time. Our Tour guide Xario ensured that he informed us and give us the facts about the creatures of the water while also lighting up the mood as we dived deeper into the ocean with the help of Franz our amazing pilot. 10/10

Good experience for those who don't swim/snorkel that can be done in a morning! - We booked this through our cruise company. It is close to the cruise terminal, so it would be easy enough to book separately and make your own way there. When you arrive, there is a covered seating area with a small shop attached. Souvenirs in the shop seemed reasonably priced. We brought a magnet for $4USD. You can also buy drinks, snacks and ice cream at the little shop while you wait to board/return from the boat. You go out to the submarine via a boat and have to climb a step ladder down into the submarine. If you are not comfortable on a ladder or are claustrophobic then this would not be accessible for you. The submarine itself isn't very comfortable with narrow plastic seats. There are two sits to a port window, so you can end up getting a bit close with the person next to you. With the warm temperatures, the sweating between the plastic seat and my legs in shorts was uncomfortable, so probably go in something that covers most of your thighs/to the knee to avoid that issue if you sweat a lot. The submarine descends to about 160/200ft below the sea surface, although it is designed to comfortably go to deeper depths. You'll see a range of different fish and circle around a shipwreck. They have an amusing choice of music to accompany the narration of what you see. You are probably only down there for about half hour, with the rest of the time being taken by boat to the dive site, waiting for the preceding group to disembark before going into the submarine yourself, and then disembarking and waiting for the next group to board before you get taken back to shore.

Atlantis Submarine Trip - Going on the submarine was a great experience. I’m not a great traveller and was worried if it would be choppy under the surface. I didn’t need to worry, it was very smooth going down. We saw coral, some fish, a couple of sting rays and a turtle. I don't know if I was wrong to expect this, but I thought we would see brightly coloured coral and larger brightly coloured fish than we did. The lady sitting next to me had done the submarine 5 years ago and was disappointed as she had brought her friends on the trip. She said that on her last trip there had been so many more larger fish to see. We know it depends on the day what is in the area, but I was a bit disappointed with what we saw.

Excellent experience, Great Crew but allow for 2 hours. - Overall excellent experience. On arrival however was told to take a seat immediately and listened to the briefing. When everyone was then told to show paper tickets to get their boarding passes, we didn't have any as all we had was the tripadvisor tickets on our mobile phone. The lady at the front then told us we should have gone to the desk to check-in (How could we when you told us to go take a seat!) It would have been helpful if the lady didn't assume we were part of a ship excursion and asked if we had booked directly or were part of the excursion to get us sorted properly. The submarine itself and the experience was exceptional. The Crew and captain did an excellent job at keeping us safe, entertained and we got to see the most exceptional views of the coral reefs, a sunken ship and plenty of Fish! It would also have been helpful for the Tripadvisor page to state that the overall experience would take around 2 hours so that we could have planned better our next part of the day. As it currently says a 40 minute journey we allowed an hour and then ran late for our next experience on the island. Would definitely recommend, had a great time!

Atlantis submarine tour is worthwhile - A nice experience overall. I think more exterior illumination is necessary because it's dark down below. Narrative is good.
