Wonderful experience! - Our family had an absolutely wonderful time during our tour with Claudette - it was one of the highlights of our trip to Barbados! Claudette is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the history of Barbados; we especially loved that she shared the true history of the country and not the usual eurocentric narrative. She encouraged questions and dialogue, and even welcomed us with ice cold water bottles which was a great treat. Highly recommend!

Best Walking Tour (I’ve Experienced) Worldwide. Do not miss! - Claudette! Anyone who takes this walking tour will say the same thing. I have NEVER seen such a passionate individual (and certified historian) like Claudette give a tour of a city. Her genuine approach and excitement of Barbados really resonated with us from the start - she could answer all of our questions, but what made it unique is that she was open to “pull an audible” and spend time to chat on how Barbados connected to my own Indian heritage. She made us feel at ease and taught my wife and I more than I anticipated - all backed up with FACTS, like a true historian. Btw, we missed our original tour (my fault) and she was willing to reschedule with us on her day off because she loves teaching others about her country. Wow! One of the best experiences on our vacation to Barbados. Highly recommend!

Spend the morning with Claudette! You won't regret it! - Highly, highly recommend this tour with Claudette!! She oozes with passion for and historical knowledge about Barbados. What we thought would be a 2.5 hour tour easily became 3.5 hours of fascinating conversations about how Barbados shifted through time until now. Her storytelling and accommodation of our many questions made it a highly-engaging tour that--despite the scorching heat--seemed to fly by. (By the way, she met us with frozen bottles of water and made sure we found shade throughout the tour.) If you want an entertaining, engaging, tour filled with thoughtful storytelling about the history of Barbados, book Claudette now! Thanks Claudette!

So inspiring - Claudette is a professional historian and a lovely person. I had an inspiring and educational 1:1 tour which I absolutely relished. 100% recommend! Delicious juice at the end of the trip, and then I popped to Carlisle Bay for a well earned rest after the hot walk about town. Claudette you are super! Thank you for teaching me so much.

Pleasant walk through the historic area of Bridgetown. - Had a nice time on the walking tour of Historic Bridgetown. Claudette was very knowledgeable and was able to address all of our questions. She was very friendly and easy to understand with regards to the downtown area, and history of the island as well. I definitely have a better understanding now of Barbados origins and history than i had before the tour. It was a relatively short walk around the historic area downtown. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a break from the beach.
