On the Signature Rum Tasting you will learn about the rich history of Mount Gay Rum after meeting your Brand Host, the tour will kick off with complimentary welcome Rum Punch. While you enjoy your cocktail your host will take you on a journey through the Legacy Museum which offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the illustrious history of Mount Gay Rum and the island of Barbados.

From there, you will view a short film which gives an explanation of the process of how Mount Gay rums are produced. Next, you will be taken to the Tasting Room where you will enjoy an experience of flavour of 3 Mount Gay rums. Your host will walk you through the tasting explaining the differences between each rum that you taste. 

To complete the tasting, you will then be taken to the Signature Bar for a chance to indulge in some wonderfully crafted cocktails with the very knowledgeable mixologists.  After the tasting, make sure to visit the gift shop to purchase some bottles or souvenirs for yourself. Some of the rums can only be purchased on the island! You can also enjoy finger foods or lunch for purchase at the Live Grill.

Great day! - An amazing day!! Romal our guide was very informative and humorous! It was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Learned a lot about the history of rum on the island and had the opportunity to try 4 different rums!! We then moved on to the cocktail making experience and Rashon was our guide. He was also a cheerful character and we made two types of cocktail - a daiquiri and a rum punch! My daughter’s boyfriend was happy he won the daiquiri making competition! All six of really enjoyed the experience - highly recommended.

Rum Tasting Experience - Barbados - This is a must do experience in Barbados, the tour guide was knowledgeable and I was educated on ALL things rum! Amazing amazing time! Be sure you eat before you go!

Fantastic Experiance - What an amazing time. Fantastic. Can not recomend this enough. There was 7 of us (celebrating my birthday) and teh tour and tasting experiance was excellant. Tina especially went the extra mile, so a huge shout out to her. No pushy sales pitch to buy anythiing at teh end too (but you could) which was nice. You WILL enjoy this.

The best tour we have ever done! - From being collected at our accommodation to being given a tour around the distillery, to tasting the rums, to learning how to make signature cocktails, the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. Our guide explained the fascinating history of Mount Gay and answered questions knowledgeably and sensitively. He then led the rum tasting which was very professional but also huge amounts of fun. He skilfully balanced the informative with the humour and we all learned lots. This was followed by a cocktail making class which was brilliantly run by another guide. He explained every stage and made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Again, he could answer all the questions thrown at him and everyone seemed to be having a brilliant time. Thank you to everyone involved; we cannot wait to return!
