Fun and educational - The staff here were so lovely! Really enjoyed this stop on our trip. It was a really beautiful setup that allowed one to learn and be stimulated. I have a better understanding about rum and how it is made, and respect for everyone that works there. This was a wonderful experience as a bartender and someone who loves drinking rum. Damien lead our tour and did an amazing job.

Perfect Rum Day 🥃 - I love Rum and I heard about this famous West Indies Rum Distillery that is also home to Plantation Rum before but the experience exceeded my expectations: This place, the tour, its location and experience is gorgeous! On top of that the people are really passionate about Rum. I would recommend to extend the stay to a full/ half day trip since you can order excellent food, access an amazing beach (with facilities like showers/ changing rooms etc.) integrated in the tour experience and have access to further well done Rums at the bar. If you are lucky like me you may even meet the Master Blender Mr. Gabriel but definitely many other passionate People. I can truly recommend: Go and visit this place 😊! Don’t forget to book a tour online and bring long clothes and closed shoes for the tour (and things to change into afterwards for the beach/bar). Greetings Thilo

Girls Day Trip - What an incredible experience. We were greeted by the friendly staff taken to get our stuff to start the tour. Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. We toured through the facility, were able to see some of the processes of making the rum and then of course tasting it. Once the tour was over we had an incredible cocktail at the bar, ordered some food (burger) was delicious, went to the beach, swam in the ocean and chilled out on some of the beach chairs they have. Can't wait to take the rest of the family here on our next visit, it is a must for them!

A Blessing from Saint Rum - In Barbados there are 4 distilleries of note; Mount Gay, Stades, Foursquare and St. Nicholas Abbey. I made a specific trip to see Stades and Foursquare on this excursion. I've been to several distilleries over the years and have to say that Stades set the bar for distillery experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgable and very informative. I had a great time walking the grounds and speaking with my guide about the various rums, recipes and their steadfast legacy to protecting the history of Caribbean Rums and George Stades incredible work. I "know a little" about rum and they were able to quickly answer my questions and keep me fully engaged on the tour. Barbados is the home of Carbbean Rums and Stades is doing the fantastic work of spreading the word and producing very high quality rums. This is done on a large expansive beach with a great mixologist on staff that knows his rums at an expert "Rummelier" level. When you get to Barbados, there is only ONE distillery to see, Stades. Make sure to take your own pants, otherwise you'll get a loaner pair to wear during the tour. PS. My Mother always taught me if you dont have anything good to say, then dont. There's a reason I wont be reviewing Foursquare.

8/10 - would recommend - Informative tour. Very pleasant staff. Very knowledgeable. My sole critique would be: it needs to be a bit longer. That's it. Definitely has lots of potential.
