Recommended guide and driver - We were 2, only 1 day left, a Friday, no notice, no info, and we found the details of Eric (previously recommended driver) in a bunch of previous reviews. We contacted him at 10.30pm and in 20mn he managed to plan a day trip for us at the standard price of the local market. He picked us up at 9am on Friday morning at the hotel. He drove us directly to Cameron Highlands. No traffic, amazing sceneries and a lot of interesting stories from Eric. We visited Boh plantation, took a snack went to another spot and drove back down. Eric stopped on all of my numerous requests for taking pictures. We bought on our way down some honey of the Orang Asal people. Back in town we visited few temples and had a local lunch. Eric had been safe, respectful, friendly, interesting… An unforgettable day, thanks to him.

Fantastic Cameron Highlands Experience - Fantastic tour provided by our driver Wassu and his boss Jai. Jai had another customer that day so my group and his drove separately but met up at every stop on the itinerary. Jai provided incredible insight into the Cameron Highlands, the tea culture and other interesting stories here and there. Jai and Wassu made sure all our needs were met (eg getting back to Ipoh station for a train). Couldn’t recommend this tour more! Thankyou Jai and Wassu for the incredible day!

A truly spectacular private tpur - A truly fantastic private tour exploring the nature of the Cameron Highlands. Jai is an amazing guide, his warmth and knowledge really makes the tour special. As a solo traveller was able to have a uniquely tailored tour and got to learn so much about the rich history of the area. The tour was flexible and was able to explore the tea plantations without feeling rushed. The orchid and rose garden was a true hidden gem!

Unmissable Malaysian Trip - Would 100% recommend this trip. Jaie was professional and respectfully shared his love and excellent knowledge of the area from the minute he picked us up at our hotel. He communicated through what’s app at all times to let us know what was happening and when.
We were particularly impressed by Jaie’s generosity for us in what he offers and towards his community, using his business sensitively to support and sustain them.
We particularly enjoyed the visit to Boh’s Tea Plantation, finding the Cameron Valley Tea a bit more ‘twee’ .
Jaie was particularly interested in our trip altogether and keen to work with us to get the best out of Malaysia …… so much so, he sent advice and links to us at the end of a long day, which was much appreciated.
A long bur fabulous and enriching day, that I wouldn’t have wanted to miss .
Thank you . Now sitting in the beautiful Langwaki Island thanks to you Jaie !

Wonderful day in the Highlands! - This is a professional business. Our driver Faiz contacted us the day before to reassure us about the 7am pick-up at our hotel. He was there before time and greeted us warmly.
Our first stop was to have breakfast at an Indian-style café where we tried a simple breakfast and chai. We chatted on the drive up to the Cameron Highlands finding out more about Faiz, his community and the local area. After a toilet stop at an inappropriately sited Hobbiton (where fortunately this tourist site was closed) we proceeded via a Garden/Orchid/Strawberry tourist site which, being English and used to gardens and soft fruit, was a little gimmicky for our taste.
We then went to the Boh Tea Estate which was very interesting with a chance for a quick tour of the factory. It was here that we first met Jaie who is the boss of the firm and a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy. Jaie took over the rest of the tour and this added value to our day. At the next Rose Garden stop he was able to impart knowledge on plants and vegetables growing in the smallholding. He also treated us to an ice cream. Other tour drivers in tow, we went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch which was a treat from Jaie -a generous gift. Lunch was good.
Jaie then escorted us to a local market so we could try local specialities like freshly prepared corn and other local fruits which we took away with us. Later, at the waterfall, once again he showed us local potions, a delicious banana/coconut dish and herbs and spices that the locals would use for medicinal (and potentially harmful) purposes. The waterfall was good but similar to all the other waterfalls that you see on your travels.
Preceding the waterfall we had visited the larger Cameron Valley Tea plantation. The views here were good but without a factory we found this much less interesting than the Boh estate.
Saying good bye to Jaie we were then driven back to our hotel by Faiz who had added to the experiences of this wonderful day.

Beautiful and interesting tour - We had a wonderful tour with great spots we visited. Very interesting because a lot has been reported about the historical developments of the places. We were allowed to taste a lot of local specialties and of course the tea from the Cameron Highlands. Highly recommended!

Beautiful pictures, learned a lot, seen a lot, experienced a lot authentically. - We enjoyed this day from start to finish. At 8am we were picked up at our hotel by Jaies. He showed us the tea plantations and the most beautiful places to take pictures. Occasionally we would make a stop and he would buy us something typical Malaysian. Fruit, a kind of banana pancake, a well-known ice cream, .... There was also a tour in a plant garden with explanations about the plants or in the car about the population / history. Eventually we asked where we could eat in Ipoh and he dropped us off at an Indian restaurant around 19h00 (end of day trip). This too was not so bad. Big thanks!!! Highly recommended.
