Fantastic tour of Byron Bay - What an amazing tour! Have always wanted to go to byron bay and so pleased i did this with trevors tour group. He is a fantastic guide who does not leave any place out of the tour. It was the perfect day today so we got to spend alot of time down at the beaches. We also were lucky enough to have his lovely wife join us which made it so much more fun.

Best Tour Guide - Easily the best tour guide i’ve ever had. Trevor was so friendly, knowledgeable and got the whole group involved. Good amount of time in each of the places and even the journey between stops was entertaining - we even did some karaoke! As a solo traveller, I felt like I was on the tour with friends. Best tour experience i’ve had!

Trevor is the best tour guide ever, and we came back for a second trip with him - We had originally planned to go to North Stradbroke Island but Trevor was such a good guide for our previous trip with him that we booked this trip to Byron Bay at the expense of the North Stradbroke Island trip, not because we didn't want to go to North Stradbroke Island, nor because we really wanted to go to Byron Bay, because North Stradbroke Island interested us a lot and Byron Bay really didn't, but Trevor is that good a tour guide that we decided to go to a less-appealing place for us just because of him. Also, of course, as we are Victorians, we loathe New South Wales and dare not set foot in the state, but Trevor is that good a tour guide that we went anyway. As for the tour, the two lighthouses were amazing, and we really loved the Macadamia Castle and Wildlife Sanctuary there, though sadly we spent far too little time there for our liking, as those were the three best places. Byron Bay was okay, but not really for us. But the highlight of the tour was Trevor. I loved hearing him talk, and would go on any tour, even to the worst-places imaginable, just to hear him talk. I loved how he decked out the bus in Australiana, including cute soft toys of a wide range of Australian animals. He even gave a full rendition of The Man From Snowy River, which I was forced to study for 2 months in Grade 9, but if Trevor was my teacher I might have actually enjoyed it. Our previous tour, to Eumundi, was arguably more like what we wanted to do than this one, but Trevor's presence made this more than worth it. As a side note, by accommodating this tour it meant that we had to swap our next tour, to Springbrook and the Glow Worm Caves, to tomorrow, meaning that we have a nice cool time on tomorrow's blistering 37 degree day, which would otherwise have been when we were going to North Stradbroke Island, on a tour that didn't include any swimming, and would have been hell, as we were originally going to go to Springbrook today and had to swap it to accommodate this last-minute change. It was also great to see Trevor again. I go on a lot of tours and review just about everything but Trevor is the best. If the rating was out of 100 he would get 100. A true hidden gem.

Best of the Gold Coast - Well organized tour! It gave us the chance to see a long stretch of the most beautiful coast of Australia also going inland (we could never visit everything in a single day without a car). The frequent stops with description of the places and recommendations on Shopping and restaurants, made the day more enjoyable which lasted almost 10 hours with 380 km of walking Recommended especially for adults, a bit challenging for children. The guide speaks only English.

Fantastic tour and a fab guide - This tour is fantastic. Leave the hustle and bustle of Brisbane behind for the day and visit some of the beautiful spots along the southeast coast of Queensland and into NSW. The tour is a small group and can be customised to suit the group so we did the Byron Bay Lighthouse walk which gave great views of some spectacular beaches. Trevor was very accommodating and also had some great spots for food.

A rainy day on the gold coast - Efficient pickup and timing during the day. We had a rainy day to do this visit and mostly managed to avoid the rain while we were out. Lovely first coffee spot and viewpoints. Safe and comfortable drive with a knowledgeable driver. It was a fun day despite the torrential rain.

Fun tour of Byron Bay and Gold Coast - Wanting to go to Byron Bay and environs, I joined a small group tour with Dear Australia, booked through Viator. Our guide Trevor is a friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful tour guide and driver. He provided interesting and useful commentary as we traveled to Bryron Bay, Bangalow, and Gold Coast, well paced with stops for sightseeing, photo-ops, special views, and shopping. Byron Bay Lighthouse was amazing: we even glimpsed some whales in the ocean! We covered a lot of ground in the 10 hours of this tour, in a comfortable mini-van. This was a throughly enjoyable, fun tour experience. Highly recommended!

Great experience - Despite the torrential rain, Trevor made this trip a success. He amended the route to avoid the rain where possible and his knowledge was excellent. I really wanted to go yo Byron Bay but the rain was too bad and the group decided to drive on. Trevor thought on his feet and took us to Surfers Paradise instead, which was great.
