Amazing place to fisit - Definitely worth a visit. We were picked up on a packed bus and around 70 min journey to zoo. You could easily spend all day there. It didn’t feel like a zoo, more a conservation area which we liked. Worth every penny

Zoo - Animal enclosures so inviting also loved that it was a zoo that primaily had animals of the regins close rather than trying to have worldwide animals.

An impressive, interesting and not to forget experience. - We really enjoyed our visit. The Zoo is beautiful and spaciously landscaped in the forest with lots of shade. The animals are in spacious enclosures and are easy to observe. There are many interesting specimens. The signage is clear. You can rest in different places and process the impressions. Plenty of toilets. There are several impressive shows. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In short, an experience not to be missed.

Very basic, but good value for money - If you wanted a guided tour, this is not the tour for you, and if you really want to save money you can just catch the local bus that goes by, but in-between the true do-it-yourself option and an actual guided tour lies the Croc Express, which for $60 (after taking out the cost of a ticket) you get to be driven in a nice coach to Australia Zoo with a large group and back again, with room to take prams, wheelchairs and the like if needed, and with the convenience of picking you up straight from your hotel. I could commend Australia Zoo, but the quality of Australia Zoo really has nothing to do with this tour, as you could go to Australia Zoo by yourself by catching the bus up and back. But with Croc Express you get the convenience of not having to figure out the bus timetable or what is going on at Australia Zoo, and for us this was just what we wanted. This is really great for an interstate of overseas visitor short on money who just wants that helping hand to figure out the complexities of public transport. Other tours are fancier but none are better value for money than this one.

Good bus drive - Seems to be a good way to get from Brisbane to the zoo efficiently. Not really any discussion along the way but reliable.

Convenient way to visit - The zoo was a lot smaller than I thought so six hours was plenty of time to look around. Food is not to overpriced so if you're not taking a picnic don't worry. The transport was punctual and comfortable both there and back. There was a short wait on the way home ax we also picked up visitors to kangaroo island but nothing too inconvenient. Although this was more expensive it took the headache out of accessibility to the zoo which is a little in the middle of nowhere
