OUTSTANDING TOUR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! - Our wine tour with Vino Bus was OUTSTANDING with GREAT wines GREAT food GREAT views and a FANTASTIC driver with Ari at the helm. He was so knowledgeable about both the wines we tasted and the mountain itself showing us Aboriginal bushtucker at Mason winery, native stinging plants and teaching us about the history of the land. The views from Brisbane to the mountain and beyond were simply STUNNING with a contrast of outback Australia to lush green rainforest. We saw hang gliders sailing off the lookout point. Ari even found time to stop for Fudge and ice cream in between wine tastings with a couple of beautiful boutique shops to satisfy our shopping needs. Thank you Ari and thank you Vino bus. We will definitely be booking another tour with Vino towards the end of the year. HIGHLY recommend 10 STARS out of 5.

Fabulous family day out - Fabulous day out for the family, celebrating my 85yo dad’s Father’s Day. Barry (the driver and guide) was awesome!!! The wines were great. The scenery amazing. The lunch fabulous. And the joy was boundless. Loved it and would definitely recommend!!! Looking at doing another with this company in the near future.

Great day with Ari - Ari was very cheerful, friendly and interesting. We went out on a rainy day and Ari made sure that the whole experience was over and above what we expected. He also had a vast knowledge of the area and the wine and spirit. Thank you for a great day!

Great half-day winery tour - We went to Cedar Creek Winery, Hamptons, and Tambourine Mountain Distillery for a half day tour (30th birthday). It was such a good day! Our tour guide, Boris, had so many great dad jokes to keep us entertained. Lunch at Hamptons was great- we got to sing along some classic songs. Overall, it was a great experience! I would recommend!

Fantastic Experience! - Having done this Vino Bus tour once before, I talked it up to my friends, and the 2nd time 'round was as good as the first time. Fantastic service, and a really great day out. Our driver/guide, Ari, was fun and amiable, and the bus was clean and comfortable. Two of the wineries we visited were great (the 3rd one was ok, but I wouldn't describe it as great), and the distillery was an amazing experience. I would describe the lunch as gourmet, with the spicy pumpkin hummus and the hard cheese as highlights from the antipasto board. An overall great value experience. It sounds pricey at $220pp, but it's not actually pricey when you consider everything you get for it - from the return transportation, to the included food and drinks.

Good day out wine tasting - Full day wine tour to Mt Tamborine. 3 vineyards for tastings and a distillery tasting. Barry picked us up on time, and the tour ran efficiently. Unfortunately Barry had largely lost his voice, so despite his best efforts, the tour was fairly silent. The lunch was very good and the distillery particularly was great. The 3rd wine tasting was our least favourite with a very lacklustre tasting host and mediocre wine.

Overall, a good day out and I would recommend - Having Boris as the wine tour guide made the experience most memorable, his knowledge of wine, his humour and anecdotes made the tour interesting and enjoyable . However it was a shame that this experience did not continue throughout the trip as it was clearly evident that a young man serving wine at one of the tasting locations had little knowledge about the wines he was serving, especially when asked questions. Although it did not state in the advertising of the trip, I would have liked to have toured around the winery and seen the process of how the wines were made on site. Surprisingly the lunch included in the trip, offered a good selection of main meals and was well presented and tasty.

Meh! - The only positive about the trip was the views, unfortunately the wine tastings felt rushed and wine wasn’t that great, didn’t really learn much and felt like we spent the full day driving around. Would’ve been nice to stop around and enjoy the views and at least see where the grapes grow, especially for the price we paid, $200 per person is a lot. The food was shocking! Arrived stone cold and lacked flavor. I’d recommend just doing a wine tour alone instead of with the company. Would probably save you money and least you can enjoy the day without feeling rushed. Also no stops along the way if you need to use the restrooms once you leave the mountain. Overall pretty disappointing.

Unfortunate day of experiences - We engaged The Vino bus for a tour last weekend which ended in disappointing circumstances. The driver was late on arrival, refused to pull into the driveway on our side of the road wherein our elderly parents were then forced to cross 4 busy lanes of traffic. The bus was quite old and in need of some maintenance and the air conditioning didn't appear to be working. The first stop was average where the tour operator for the day "Boris" whilst knowledgeable made unappealing jokes and unnecessary comments to some of our passengers about talking. Masons was a lovely winery however again Boris huffed and puffed and begrudingly took a photo of the group. Lunch at Hamptons was beautiful and the band provided good entertainment. We were unfortunately rushed out of here only to have to swap buses then wait in the alternate bus for almost half an hour with no explanation. On the way home one of our elderly passengers with incontinence issues asked politely for a bathroom stop which was ignored. The front passenger asked again politely for a bathroom stop which again was ignored sighting it was unsafe to pull over on the highway however there were several shoulders or exits that could have been taken. When it became urgent another passenger became frustrated and Boris stopped in the middle lane of the highway endangering everyone on the bus and other road users. He then proceeded to drop us off at the next exit and left us at the side of the road to find our own way home. The tour company didn't approach us for the appropriate version of events or check bus footage before replying by email which a courtesy phone call would have resolved. Eventually the company did refund 50% of our tour cost citing clear difference of version of events between the driver and footage and apologised for his behaviour. Boris's reflection on the company is unfortunate as it could have been a lovely day but if you intend to book with this company I would check who the driver is before making any confirmation.
