Amazing sights - Rio (our tour guide, not the city) did an awesome job dealing with issues about the ferries. The tour provided great views and I managed to take my best koala in the wild picture.

Everything collected perfectly - The trip was a lot of fun and just what I needed. The small group was very efficient and cozy. Rio gave us a lot of good information and it was just a fun filled day all around. If in future a first nations person/local guide could talk to us about their concerns and their lives that would’ve added even more depth to the experience. But it was a great day at a special and beautiful place. Thanks very much.

Beautiful Minjerribah - Rob has been incredible. Minjerribah is a beautiful island and he definitely knew the little secrets of the place. We had tons of fun. Had a little kangaroo and koala showsslmost as if they've been waiting for us. Rob was very attentive and information without being too much. We'd definitely go on another tour with him!

Hidden Gem with opportunity to see Koalas and Kangaroos, and many other wildlife. - What a great day with HIT THE ROAD TOURS, Rio our guide was very nice. I sat next to him on the short drive to the ferry and we had a nice talk between ourselves and the gentlemen just behind him who also asked a few questions. He played a nice mix of soothing music for those in the back, and gave information over a mike when we past a point of interest for those in the back so they could hear. A short 25 minute ferry ride later and we were on Straddie. We saw several Koalas and Kangaroos on this beautiful day. The island itself is very pretty and well worth going to on a tour. There is a coastal loop walk that has many stairs for those with mobility issues. The views on that walk are beautiful, we saw a few Kangaroos, spotted many sea turtles and one Manta Ray. There is an opportunity to eat after the coastal loop walk if you finish early or to get some yummy gelato. You will have plenty of time to eat when you go to Cylinder beach as well, but if you eat after the coastal loop walk you will have more time at the beach (there are stairs down to this beach too). At Cylinder beach there is a restaurant at top, plus some vendors selling smoothies, acai bowls, fruit juices, and milkshakes (delicious) behind the trees at the lagoon side of the beach. I enjoyed Stradbroke more than Moreton island ( more things to do and see here in my opinion, plus numerous beautiful beaches and food options). Although we did have a very nice snorkel at the wrecks on Moreton and they have the sand dunes. Straddie is a hidden gem, and well worth the trip with this tour operator.

Amazing day of koalas and kangaroos! - What an amazing day and the perfect way to see Australia in its natural habitat! Our guide Rio was thoughtful in making sure we had the perfect balance of free time and touring time. We saw kangaroos in the wild and two different areas with koalas in the trees just out and about. Great recommendations for a gorgeous beach stop and a lovely lunch place overlooking the beach. It’s a full day but will be your favorite day of your entire trip!

Proud of myself that I chose this tour - We really enjoyed the tour and absolutely loved North Stradbroke Island! We visited all the stunning spots on the island, and the schedule was well-paced—not rushed at all. We had plenty of time to relax and enjoy each place. The experience at Brown Lake was truly healing, the scenic Gorge Walk was breathtaking, and the sound of the blowhole was like a whale's breathing. Cylinder Beach was reminiscent of Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays—simply gorgeous. We were also lucky enough to spot three adorable koalas! Our guide, Rio, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating history and background about the island, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this tour if you want a quality experience exploring Straddie. I can guarantee you'll have an unforgettable day filled with wonderful memories and stunning photos!

Trip of sunshine, sea and wild lives. - Absorbing scenary and informative, as Rio shown great knowledge & relative history of the area. He has also demonstrated dedicated customer service by rushing off to retrieve his vans parked near the ferry terminals in short time frame to pick up his passengers after they alighted from the ferries. We have also spotted sea turtles and three koalas. The only down side was that the weather was a bit of a scorcher.
