Excellent tour - Very interesting walking tour, learn about some of the war history in Bristol in the area you are walking. See parts of Bristol you can't view otherwise. Duncan includes everyone and gets the visitors to sit in one of the many rooms and walks round and shows you items from the war and explains about them. He is passionate about the whole place and history. It's worth going to one of the many tiny individual eateries in the market before the tour or after. We had jerk chicken and rice/ potatoes. There is a pieminster, and lots of other choice. The marker itself has lovely bags, scarfs, fossil's, socks, it's own cafe, children's toys for sale, lots of jewelry and more.

Something different!! - Really interesting experience. Our guide is really enthusiastic about the subject. I never knew the shelters existed! Also interesting was the history of Bristol and the buildings near the Corn Exchange, and what did and did not survive the blitz

A very interesting and atmospheric experience - A fascinating and very interesting tour. Being able to see places in the Corn Exchange that I, and most of the others on the tour, did not know existed was fantastic. Who knows that the statues in 'niches' around the main hall even existed - they were of course within the main hall before the glass roof was destroyed in the blitz; the new roof is much lower so they cannot be seen - but they can if you go on the tour! Very atmospheric in the cellars - although we didn't see the resident ghost (Margaret), she did appearing in the group photo - spooky!! The guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable, gave us so much information not only about the Corn Exchange and St. Nicholas Market, but about the surrounding area. A tour well worth taking. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

A great tour - A fantastic and informative tour. Duncan was a great tour guide - super engaging and knowledgable. The air raid shelter part of the tour was so interesting. It was evident a lot of time and effort had been put into preserving it to how it would have been all those years ago. Would highly recommend.

Hidden gem in the heart of the City - Amazing find, who knew there was a second world war shelter still intact in the middle of the city. Fascinating tour, brilliant guide and incredible artifacts. Even if you think you know Bristol, you need to see this.
