Excellent overview of Bristol's history - I've been on this tour three times over the past seven years. The first time was when I moved to Bristol, the other two times were when friends visited. It's very good. Our guide was Luke, very friendly and a nice relaxed style. My only criticism is that Luke told the story of Daniel Defoe meeting Alexander Selkirk at the Llandoger Trow pub, and Selkirk's tales were the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Local historian Eugene Byrne told me this is a myth. It may have been created by Berni Inn when they bought the pub in 1962. I think the tour should at least qualify the tale with words such as "so the story goes", or "according to local folklore". Anyway apart from that it's an excellent walking tour, recommended!

Excellent walking tour, Luke was an interesting and knowledgeable guide - The 2 hours went really quick as we walked all around the city taking on the history and especially the culture. It was a fun experience. Our guide Luke was friendly and knew the politics as well as the history. Totally recommend this tour

Absolutely brilliant tour - Simon was a brilliant guide who taught us so much about Bristol, about its history and character, about the street art. We were very impressed, but most of all enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for a splendid couple of hours, Simon.

This is a 'MUST' if you live or visit Bristol! - A Blackbeard to Banksy 2-hour walking tour full of interesting facts, street art and humour, taking you to parts of the city you wouldn't normally visit, even if you lived in Bristol. Luke, our Guide's encyclopaedic knowledge, mixed fact with humour and he made this tour fantastic. Highly recommended - a great way to spend two hours and worth every penny!

Amazing Bristol and street art tour! - Absolutely brilliant walking tour, the best we’ve been on for a long time. Amazing guide with pitch perfect delivery. So knowledgeable but delivered in a wonderful style with much fun and humour. Perfect for adults and kids alike, especially if they like street art. Saw all the nooks and crannies that we simply wouldn’t have found without the tour. Highly recommended.
