Great way to see local wineries. - What a great way to experience the wineries of Vancouver Island. Our guide Tycho (not 100% sure of that spelling!) picked us up at our hotel door. He was friendly and funny and full of information about the area. He made sure we stopped for a look at the most scenic point of the road. The three wineries we visited were so great. We met the wine makers and got a real look at how local wines are produced. Our charcuterie style lunch was delicious and enjoyed beside the vines. Gorgeous day. Full of information and enjoyment. Highly recommend!!

Wine and Cheese Tour - Awesome tour! We fully enjoyed the experience and highly recommend the tour. We enjoyed the comfort of an air conditioned large passenger van while visiting 3 wineries and 1 berry farm. The country side was magnificent. Our tour guide, Colleen, explained in great detail the history of the area and what to expect at each stop. We especially enjoyed the picnic lunch.

A truly wonderful experience - This tour turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Victoria. We wanted to explore outside the city and this was just exactly what we wanted. The tour left exactly on time at 10 am, and our tour guide told us all sorts of interesting facts about what we could see in the van: the park, the mountains, the valley, etc. We visited three wineries, a cheese farm and a Saskatoon berry farm. The wineries were thoughtfully selected so as to give an idea of the array of wine businesses in the area. The first one was a small husband and wife owned winery that had some very good offerings, and a shelf full of their awards to prove it. The second one was a big, more corporate operation with stunning grounds, and a well appointed tasting building with beautiful views to the fields and the mountains beyond. This is where we had our catered lunch. We were not sure what type of lunch we were going to get (was it going to be a little sandwich and chips??? - we wondered). But it turned out to be a very nice, locally sourced lunch that was both flavorful and substantial. The third winery was a really interesting place because it felt like a laid back local hang out. You can go there to taste wines, sit outside and sip wine while listening to live music. We had a great time chatting with the other members of the tour and enjoying the views that surrounded the property. Our tour guide, Colleen, who is also the owner of the company, was knowledgeable, fun to talk to, but always watchful to make sure everyone was taken care of. It was obvious to us she has lots of experience doing this. The tour went on without a glitch. In total, from beginning (pick up at the hotel) to end (drop off at the hotel) the trip was 6 hours. In conclusion, I highly recommend this tour.

Great wines - It was a great way to get acquainted with island; we had great weather and even saw Mt. Baker. The small vintage experience was the best and something no one would even know about without taking the tour.
