Great Way to get away and taste good wine. - Our visit wine tasting, the owner was amazing. Such passion for her wine, loved hearing the story behind their wine and balsamic vinegar. Second winery was okay, we had our lunch break there, food was brought in by our driver from a local vendor. Excellent lunch-free ingredients. You will not leave hungry. Only wish was we could have enjoyed lunch at a picnic area then done the 2nd wine tasting. Wine was already poured when we sat down, young lady explained all 5 wines in less than 5 minutes -then she was gone. We were left to figure out which wine was what. Would have enjoyed a bottle of wine with the group over lunch then the tasting. 3rd Winery was nice and quiet, owner did the pouring himself, he would tell a story about the wine or what would pair well with it as he poured. Our driver and tour guide Colleen, is extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the region. She chatted the whole way up to the vineyards-which I enjoyed hearing about the island, the maple trees and all local vendors.
