We meet at our van in the car park beside the Kurrawa Surf Saving Club. There are toilets and also showers nearby so you can wash off the salt and sand after the surf lesson. We can also arrange photos to prove that you were able to stand up, if you would like us to.

Go to the Kurrawa Surf Club in Old Burleigh Road at Broadbeach and find a car park nearby. Head to our van in the car park beside the Surf Club to get started.

Excellent instructor - Patient and knowledgeable instructor. Good beginner equipment and was kept safe during lesson. I know what it is I need to do to surf on my own, just need more practice.

Family surf lessons with Damo from GRAW. - We had a family booking 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kids under 12. Damo was our instructor and he was brilliant. Took the time with each of us to make sure we all got up on a wave, his instructions were engaging and he clearly has a passion for surfing. Damo took the time to explain how rips form on the beach to all of us which I found interesting and useful. We had so much fun, it was both humbling and a highlight of our trip to Queensland. Thanks so much Damo! We plan to come back and do some back to back lessons again.

Great instructors, great time - Damo and Micko were great instructors! Made us all feel very comfortable and safe trying out surfing for the first time, and had a lot of fun despite being a fairly large and mixed group! Will definitely be trying surfing again - thanks guys!

Fantastic - Sorry I'm not sure if that's the right name Jade..? I learned from him and I really recommend it. This was my first time surfing and I was worried because I can't swim but I didn't have to worry at all. It was so much fun that 2 hours felt like 40 minutes!

Great teacher - I've had a few lessons but Cal was by far the most professional, encouraging and all round the best teacher. Would love to go surfing again with him as he gave great pointers on how to improve. Thanks so much!

Fantastic! - Fantastic! Booked a last minute group surf session for my 12 year old and she ended up having a private session as no one else was booked in. Maui the instructor was super friendly and my daughter had heaps of fun. Highly recommended!

Fun experience and intro to surfing - The bus wasn't easily visible, and it took a while to find it. The instructors were nice and tried to help everyone one on one when able to.
