Had a remarkable day with Stewart and would strongly recommend his services. It was thrilling to see Golden Eagles in the wild, even if we only caught a brief glimpse of them high above our heads. That’s the unpredictability of nature - you can’t command its presence on cue. We were also fortunate to see a Sea Otter mother and her pup hunting and devouring a Conger eel amid a variety of other wildlife. The highlight of the day was sighting different Pine Martins. All in all, it was an exceptionally rewarding day! The homemade cakes and pasties for lunch were an added delight.

Educational and Delightful Experience - Stewart is knowledgeable, witty and fun company. We spent a few memorable hours together as he shared more about how to appreciate the animals. It was a delightful and enjoyable experience. What we manage to do: i) spotted the lone otter snacking in the waters around the island under the Skyre bridge, ii) learnt more about the lighthouse and how it used to function, iii) sighted a group of Scottish Red deer, a cuckoo, a Goldenhead Eagle (elusive but rewarding as we waited). Absolutely wonderful!

Golden Eagles - We had a superb time despite the weather being not very good with strong winds, rain & low clouds. Stewart took us to many different areas of Skye that we wouldn't know about to see the wildlife. His knowledge was very extensive & was so helpful with his advise on camera set ups. We had the best Golden Eagle experience we could have wished for, also had a good sighting of a White Tailed Eagle & many others. Well worth the money. Thank you Stewart. Andrew & Bianca.

Skye- wildlife - Stewart is a friendly & knowledgeable nature guide. New all the best places & shared his experience & tips that will remain with me. Saw tutting stags but highlight had to be the pair of golden eagles. 1 perched within its favourite view spot. Would highly recommend.

A unique view of Skye - What a wonderful afternoon! Stewart picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us off along some country roads in search of Skye wildlife. He had asked what our main interests were and tailored the route and timings to coordinate with the tides and habits of the animals we were interested in. We were lucky enough to spot a golden eagle in flight and a white tailed eagle on a rocky shoal. The best was an imperial stag with his herd of hinds. No way we would have spotted them on our own, or seen them without his scope. We learned a lot about their habits and the island’s ecology. Stewart is a great story teller and this is a great tour to take if you’d like a more in depth experience of the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Beautiful Day on Isle of Skye - The most beautiful scenery, Heather was in bloom, the countryside was a lush green, and lots of sheep that look like goats. Stewart was away on a family emergency and his step son, Max, was the guide for this day. He was quite knowledgeable about history of the clans on Skye and their castle ruins, and the unique landscape. We drove the north side of the island which was grand. Max was charming and gracious. His live for the area was obvious. if I ever return I will happily book the tour again and go south.

Best Wildlife tour - Stewart was an awesome guide. He took care to adapt the tour to the things we wanted to see. He knew the Isle of Skye very well: animals, of course, but land features, geology, and history as well. He was proud of his little island and it showed. My girls ages 9 and 11 had a blast. I would give 6 stars if possible. Definitely recommend.

A Professional Devoted to Doing Right by the Animals and Community - Just back from a lovely day with Stewart, exploring the unique wildlife of Isle of Skye. As a bird nerd, my main focus wasn't photography (pun intended) but identifying birds unknown to me as an east coast based American. Stewart is true professional, identifying for me the variety of birds mentioned in the other reviews, including the eagles and local song and shore birds. What is important to me is his devotion to doing right by the animals (keeping a distance, respecting their needs) and by the community - he offhandedly mentioned he has the personal permission of the largest landowner to access her property - the only local guide with that. He didn't need to ask for it - it was, though, the right thing to do. Thank you, Stewart, for a great intro to Skye wildlife!
