Nice park! - Our group loved so much the Pilanesberg experience we’d had the day before that we wanted to go and check out the nature a bit more. Brian also picked us up on time and drove us to the Lion Park. There, he showed us the ducks and crocodiles and we went into another vehicle to experience the park itself. It is more of a zoo with really large areas where the animals are kept divided by species, and you drive into those areas in a cage-like jeep to see most of the animals. We got to see lions up close, a baby giraffe, zebras, hyenas, leopards… it takes about 4 hours from the time you get picked up to the time you get back into the city. Brian was kind enough to drop us off at Soweto, where we continued sightseeing for the day. It was a great experience!

Very interesting safari !!! Good organisation and excellent guide - We can really recommend this tour when you are in Johannesburg and have a few free hours... the organisation was perfect . I mistakenly made the reservation for the wrong day but Solly , the CEO of the company was extremely understanding and we were able to change the day) . The driver, Thsepo, was very punctual and friendly and the Safari tour was really interesting. We had a guide called Matilda who was able to answer all the questions about the animals that we saw and explained things in an entertaining and insightful manner. Great experience!

A great, family-friendly experience! - This tour was so much fun. We were picked up at our AirBnb and driven about one hour to the park. Our driver was very friendly and told us about the places that we drove through. Since this was our first time in Joburg, this really enhanced our experience! At the Lion and Safari Park, we went on a two hour tour of the animal enclosures. The tour guide was great, and we got very close to many lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and other amazing animals. Our children, ages 5 and 7, had a terrific time. After the tour we went shopping, and then our pickup driver was there to bring us back to our starting point. I'd definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience the Lion and Safari Park!

A beautiful and comfortable experience of the African wildlife - It was a lovely experience to see the wildlife so closely. The tour takes you as close as possible to the majestic animals of the lion park. 2 hours went by in a flash with our tour guide's entertaining and informative explanations. The drive to and from the park was as comfortable as possible, with a pick up and a drop off from the hotel. The driver was a kind and friendly person and shared many interesting facts and tips about Joburg.

Good choice for viewing animals - It's like taking a real safari but guaranteeing you see all the animals. There is the lion area, the hyena area, the leopard area, the giraffes, antelopes and ostriches... a wonder if you do not have enough time to go to a large park.

Amazing Experience, strongly recommend - This was an amazing experience, The tour guide, Tsepo was simply the best. I was picked up from my hotel and dropped off. The ride to and fro was smooth and cool. Even though it wasn’t a private tour, we were a small group of 3 which made it even more enjoyable. Strongly recommend the safari lion experience with Philippians 4 tour.

Short, Sweet, Surrene - Had a great day as far as weather. Guidelines was knowledgeable and able to assist with helping to get photos of the animals. The caged vehicle made this a challenge although understandable for safety reasons. Would have liked to have seen the leopards. All that was available was a far away shot of its head. Overall not bad considering the price and time.
