An audio guide tour for the TikTok generation - Some of the information in the app was interesting, I want to emphasize that this is NOT a tour with a private guide. Rather, it is an app that you download on your phone with audio narration. I was aware that it was just an app when I made my purchase, but some people may not realize this based on the title ("private walking tour" sounds a bit misleading IMO). Secondly, I had difficulty enjoying the experience because the language of the tour felt too geared towards the TikTok generation to appeal to my brother's and my tastes (late 30s). Much of it was about finding "Instagram worthy" vantage points for pictures. At other times, the narrator was encouraging us to "soak in the history" of this incredible site, without really explaining what it was - other than that so and so was a "real badass" in fighting slavery. One positive thing I can say is that the narrator did convey enthusiasm with her narration, although the content wasn't for me. If you're between 15 and 25 you might enjoy this tour, but, otherwise, I'd recommend getting a guide or joining an actual walking tour.
