Great, informative and humorous tour of Brooklyn! - Anyone who goes on a tour with Dani will discover NYC, in this case Brooklyn, from angles that you don't normally see. She took us to the hip part of Williamsburg, to the street art in Bushwick, then we visited a Jewish Orthodox community in South Williamsburg and finally we went to the brownstone houses in Cobble Hill and to Brooklyn Heights to enjoy a great view of Manhattan. There was a lot of information and stories about the individual neighborhoods, but not dry and boring, but with heart and humor. You can tell that Dani not only loves NYC, but lives it. If you're looking for a slightly different tour of NYC, this is the perfect place for you.

Very informative and exciting Brooklyn tour - We already know the usual spots in Manhattan, so we wanted to take a closer look at Brooklyn on this NYC trip. As we didn't know exactly what was worth seeing, we booked the Brooklyn tour with Dani. Dani guided us through the 5 most important districts of Brooklyn for a whole 5 hours. We started in Williamsburg, the so-called hipster neighbourhood. Then we went to Bushwick with its street art, followed by the neighbourhood of orthodox Jews in South Williamsburg. Finally, we strolled from Copple Hill with its brownstone buildings to Brooklyn Heights, the neighbourhood where the stars and starlets live, to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, where the tour ended. As Dani has lived in Brooklyn for 10 years, she was able to totally inspire us with her enormous and detailed knowledge, which she passed on to us in a very lively and exciting way with lots of stories and background information. You can tell how much she enjoys doing the tour. The 5 hours flew by and we are still very impressed. She also provided us with information after the tour and we learnt about the highly recommended food festival and the street art festival. We can absolutely recommend this tour.

Fabulous tour - I would highly recommend. - Our tour guide was very pleasant and highly knowledgeable. She showed us four very different and contrasting districts of Brooklyn, explaining the history of each one. Well worth the price of the tour.

Absolutely recommended. Exciting Brooklyn tour with Dani. - After having been to NYC a few times, I finally wanted to explore Brooklyn in detail and stumbled upon Dani's wonderful 5-hour Brooklyn Walking Tour. Dani is a very experienced tour guide, she comes from Germany but has lived in NYC for years - and this knowledge is evident in the tour at all times. And so Dani leads her guests through a total of 5 neighborhoods in Brooklyn that couldn't be more different. From the breathtaking waterfront in Williamsburg to the cool street art in Bushwick, to an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood, to the iconic brown sandstone houses in Cobble Hill and the fantastic view of the skyline in Brooklyn Heights - where the tour ends not far from DUMBO. A very warm and friendly Dani leads us through all of these neighborhoods and their special features with her incredible competence and at the same time exciting way of telling stories. She shows pictures in between and provides impressive insider information, funny and sad stories and a huge number of valuable and exciting anecdotes. She is attentive and incredibly charismatic. You can feel how much she loves her city and what she does there - and that is really important to me as a guest. I would never have found all these great and exciting spots on my own. I felt included in every spot and got to know great and incredibly varied locations. I received tons of information, but never felt overwhelmed or bored and I learned a lot about Brooklyn. It's worth it. I'm totally fascinated and this tour was a highlight of my trip. Absolutely recommended, definitely book it.

One Borough but such diversity - It was all excellent and we learnt so much about how the different areas of Brooklyn have changed over time. The ultra orthodox Jewish enclave was especially interesting. But it was the mixture of cultures and history plus hearing about the introduction of modern developments that was fascinating. It was all presented so well by our guide,Dani. It could not have been better. We covered so much and using the subway between some areas worked very well.A highly recommended tour.

A unique tour that’s great value for money - This tour is the perfect introduction to Brooklyn if you have no idea where to start, like we did. You get to visit five (very) different neighbourhoods about which the guide is very knowledgeable and also on hand with personal recommendations depending on where you’re staying and what you like doing. Considering it’s a half day tour I thought it was excellent value for money and it’s also a great way to get your steps in!

Intimate views and perspectives of Brooklyn! - Dani gave a great panorama of Brooklyn neighborhoods, with a lot of insights into how the city is ever changing and its consequences. Unfortunately, we had to drop off about halfway, due to some health problems, so we missed out on more good sights. Hopefully we can return sometime to see the rest.
