Everything you ever needed to know about chocolate! - This is THE place if you want to learn about chocolate. If you don’t want to learn about chocolate, then don’t come here. There is tons of information all presented in creative ways and the audio tour (that comes free with the museum ticket) was awesome! I’m not sure about all the less than 5 star reviews, this place was amazing and I’m so glad we went! Far better than I expected!

A must when in Bruges - Pleasantly surprised by this museum and had a lovely visit. Arrived without a booking and got a discounted rate for the frite museum included. Bonus free samples at the end and very good value chocolates which taste amazing! If you're in Bruges then you should give this place a visit for sure.

Very informative museum - Very cool, informative museum! For small children less interesting because of the lots of information and less interactive info. From 8 years definitely worth it

Average - This museum is very average. The biggest problem is there is too much information to listen to via the audio guide. In each room there are lots of audio recordings that don’t last very long. I would condense these pieces of information to a few longer audio descriptions, as it got boring quite quickly. We ended up reading the info and skipping the audio as we got fed up. You do get to taste as much chocolate as you at the end ☺️

Fun - Cute place, enjoyed the demonstration and actually learned a lot! Geared towards kids and tourists. If you have kids, it’s a great afternoon.

Perfect for kids 5+ - We went on a Monday mid-morning and it was fairly quiet. We got given audio guides which needed to be held against numbers of exhibitions around the museum. This worked fine but our two children were bored of them within 2 minutes (they are 5 & 3 yrs old) and I’m not going to lie my husband was pretty bored too. There isn’t much signposting about which way to go next so certain parts were done out of order for us. We expected a bit more of an interactive experience overall but I would say it’s more geared towards older kids. The other reviews say it’s better suited for kids but I’d say it’s probably best for kids at least 5 years old in which case I think the museum shouldn’t charge for children under 5. The praline demonstration at the end was excellent though and the best part of the whole thing. But overall I think it’s quite expensive for what it is.
