Highlights
  • 9J97+6J Byron Bay - Experience Humpback Whales up close aboard “Wardjam” our purpose built vessel. Listen to their incredible song with our onboard hydrophone and learn about Humpback behaviour from our on board marine biologist. Between May and November each year over 30,000 Humpback whales migrate between their Summer feeding grounds in Antarctica and the warm waters of the tropics and the Great Barrier Reef. Byron Bay is the perfect place to experience the whales as they swim close to shore along our stunning coastline. Our on board marine biologist will be able to explain Humpback behaviour and tell you all about the lives of these incredible ocean giants. Our boat is perfect for getting to the whales quickly and safely for an intimate encounter with a small group. Our skipper is highly experienced having filmed whales around the world for documentary film and our guides have degrees in Marine science. We usually encounter other marine species such as dolphins, turtles and migratory birds as well as the whales. If no whales are sighted you are welcome to join the next tour free of charge, but with so many whales migrating this doesn`t really happen!

Rob - Had a once in a lifetime boat trip today with BLUE SEAFARIS.COM good boat with experienced Skipper ( Jeff) and marine biologist (Jess) out and back to Julienne Rocks Mother Nature blessed us with many close encounters with Humpback Whales The sounds the big majestic creatures made as they surfaced regularly right next to the boat was as breathtaking as the views of Northern NewSouth Wales coastline with Cape Byron Mount Warning and many other spectacular land marks made for a great Adventure …. Thanks Scott for organising our trip
