Lovely day outing - This was a day trip I had really been looking forward to. The boat trip through the canals was beautiful and very informative. Perhaps giving people ideas of things to see during the hours of free time would be beneficial, otherwise a lovely day out.

Satisfied - This walk is well worth it. For cost benefit, it is ideal to make the hit and return in another country. Amsterdam is beautiful. I just don't give the maximum score because I found it very bad not to be able to eat inside the bus. The journey is long, so being able to have a snack on the bus is essential, even more when travelling with children. Other than that, I highly recommend the walk.

Don't waste your time or money - We were not informed as to the details of the itinerary which are important to know. There is a meeting point in the morning, but that is not where the bus is located. This would be useful information especially in inclement weather. They allow 10 minutes past departure time for late comers. This of course can add time to the early morning wait outdoors. We then walked blocks to reach the bus in the very cold weather. Our assumption was that the meeting point is the same as where the bus is located. Allow time to have breakfast before boarding. On other tours, we were given sufficient time to eat and use the restroom during a midway stop. On this tour we were told that they assumed we'd eat prior to arriving and were not allowed food or drinks on the bus. I say this because it can affect people with dietary issues. However, they do sell bottled water and if you arrive early a supermarket is located at the meet up spot. There is a 15 minute midway stop where you are told to use the restroom, but encouraged not to eat so that you can remain on schedule. As you can imagine, a bus load of attendees attempting to use the restroom at the same time won't allow for much else. mange sure you have a credit card or change to enter the restroom. Once you finish your journey to the location, you are then told that it will be a 15 minute walk to the boat. Again, advanced notice is key especially in inclement weather. The weather turned fast and we dealt with rain, snow and at times sun. They take advantage of the situation by offering ponchos (at that exact moment) for purchase. Luckily we were prepared and brought pocket sized umbrellas - many did not and suffered the freezing rain. Once on the boat as you can imagine, body heat contributes to the windows fogging. It was impossible to see what was pointed out to us. Midway, the windows started to defog. If you love taking photos, this is not for you. The windows were still partially fogged in areas and the rain/snow didn't allow for clear photos. Upon the end of the 1 hr cruise you are then given time on your own to explore and eat before meeting back at the departure location. That window is only 10 minutes because they are not allowed more time in the pickup spot. My recommendations to the tour guide (Bruno) is to better inform of the itinerary and details that can affect your enjoyment of the tour. Perhaps hand out transmitters with headphones on the bus. With jetlag, lack of sleep and food many people prefer to sleep on the bus than have to listen to endless commentary. Some was informative, most was over winded. If you decide to visit Amsterdam I highly recommend the Rembrandt Experience. Cafés allow smoking and needless to say marijuana is legal in Amsterdam. Your best bet is to hop on Eurostar and spend a day or 2 enjoying the sites. Otherwise, I felt there was not enough time to see all we wanted to. To end, most people will tip without a "reminder" about how the tips are split between the guide and driver. I happily tip 99% of the time. It takes a pretty awful experience for me not to. I rated a 3 for a safe ride on the bus, otherwise it was a disappointment.

Not what you expect from this tour. - This tour is about 6 hours of driving + 1.5 hours of boat ride + 3 hours of free independent time around Amsterdam central station. I do appreciate our guide Diana who tried her best as she could not speak any English but tried the tour is 100 percent run in Spanish so be prepared. I blame the tour company buendia tours for putting the tour guide in situations like this. I would ask for a refund in this scenario from the tour company, adding in jury to insult we had multiple delays on the way back. I do have 2 more trips booked and hope they are not a disaster.

Not good - Not organized well tour, no guide on the bus to Amsterdam, no guide in Amsterdam, just on the boat. Lot of Spanish people on the tour, guide didn’t speak well in English. Very bad traffic on way back to Brussels.
