While journeying to Amsterdam, you’ll witness the charm of the rural surroundings and windmills. Upon reaching Amsterdam’s vicinity, we’ll make a stopover at a characteristic Dutch cheese and clog-making farm, ‘Rembrandthoeve’, situated near the Amstel river. As we enter the city, sights like the National Bank of Netherlands, the renowned Heineken brewery, and The Painting Gallery boasting the masterpieces of illustrious Dutch artists like Rembrandt and Van Gogh, will greet you. A delightful 20-minute stroll commencing from the Saint-Nicolas church will lead you to the majestic royal palace on Dam Square, passing by the neogothic style Central Station. Here, you’ll have leisure time for a boat trip or a pleasant walk exploring the ‘coffee’ shops, the Red-light district, etc. As we leave the city, our path will guide you through lovely houseboats and a replicated East Indian Company vessel. Furthermore, you’ll spot the Jewish Museum, Jewish Memorial monument, the prominent Artis Zoo, and the striking Nemo, a Science Museum emanated from the vision of internationally acclaimed architect Renzo Piano.
