One of the best walking tours we have done. - Highly recommended! We did the walking tour on October 28, 2024 - and would rank it as one of the best walking tours we have ever done. The history of sites was covered - but it was through stories about the site and not just about dates. As examples, we didn't only get the history of the Brussels Town Hall and Manneken Pis, but also had the myths busted as well. It was so refreshing to not have misinformation perpetuated, when the truth is just as interesting. Additionally, we also did not have the record of Leopold II ignored or sanitised in any way. I learned mush throughout the tour. Additionally - it also had great advice and information for those who wanted to know about where to get the best fries, beer, waffles and chocolate. This rates as equal with (what we consider) our best ever walking tour of Mostar (in Bosnia Herzogovina). Big shout out to Connor - I understand he's finished his University and needs to get a real job - but he is a gifted storyteller, makes the History interesting (and I'm a History teacher) and I hope he manages to have the time, opportunity and motivation to continue to do walking tours of Brussels. Do yourself a favour if in Brussels and seek this tour out!

Please make sure to bring cash for your guide, as Revolut does not work for Belgium citizens. Paypal can be accepted if not. Highly recommend!!

Great tour to take on your First Day! - Just wanted to say our guide, Tristan was amazing! He totally made the tour. He was insightful, funny and had lots of knowledge about Brussels. He and the other members of our tour were also incredibly patient. We were traveling with my Father who has pain when he walks, Tristan was cognizant of that, took ample breaks and tried to find places for him to sit down as much as possible. Thank you for that. Tristan has great knowledge about Brussels, from his favorite fry places (including ones that are cooked in Vegetarian based oils) to his opinion on the different types of waffles you should indulge in. We went Mid-October and the square in which we met has a wind-tunnel effect so do dress appropriately. At the end, Tristan also email you his recommendations for everything from where to get the best Belgian chocolate to where to sample different kinds of Belgian Beer. All in all, a great tour. For the financial end of it, we booked through Trip Advisor which charges a nominal fee of $3 or $4 per person. A gratuity is expected probably somewhere in the 20 to 25 euro range per person which is a very fair amount for the quality of the tour.
