Hop on Hop off Brussels - In all the cities we visit we always use Hop on hop off. In Brussels we used TootBus. Red line 18 Stops. The buses are clean, comfortable and they are electric. The staff is friendly and gives us a lot of information.

Lovely city, but average experience on tootbus - The staff is super friendly. But Brussels traffic being what it is and being an extremely hot day, it was disappointing that air conditioner in lower deck was not working. Also one young man in lower deck had taken 3 seats, with backpack in one and his legs stretched in front; And all the while people are searching for seats.

Enjoyable experience - I thought this was a great way to see Brussels. I bought the two day pass which gave us plenty of time to see what we wanted to see and meant we had no problem getting to each place. We were only waiting a short time for the buses (not even 10 minutes) and the bus drivers were nice and friendly. It would be nice if the audio said what number each stop was as the bus approaches it. Beware of rogue branches if you’re upstairs on the bus! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Disappointing - The bus route itself was quite varied and well chosen. Most audio guides in the squares also worked and offered several languages. However, the announcements were grotto bad. Many interesting-looking historic buildings we drove past were not even mentioned, let alone explained. Several times the announcements did not match the passages we just passed. Instead, we were harassed with unimportant fabricated stories like: "I'm actually from Cologne, I've been living in Brussels for 10 years now and I feel like I'm a Brussels girl" etc. Worst of all was the permanent glorification of the great EU democracy, which was completely out of place. At the one stop where we got off, the next bus arrived after an hour instead of half an hour.

Not worth the money... - Very nice and helpful bus driver. The descriptions via audio guide are partly repeated, are not coordinated with the route, stops are announced too late in the audio guide. But the music during breaks is good.

Waste of money - The tour was a real let down - we’d hoped to learn about Brussels with an interesting and informative commentary as we went past the main areas/buildings. Unfortunately, that was not the case - instead of talking about the buildings we passed, it talked about clubbing in Brussels and how amazing it is. Know your audience - if your customers have spent £30 on a ticket, they want to learn something about what they are seeing! I wouldn’t recommend the tour - you can move around the city easily by foot or public transport and save yourself the waste of money.

A waste of 59 euros to walk 8km to find no toot bus. - There is little helpful information about the toot bus. We were directed to Central Station, but they don’t run from there due to road works , so we went as directed toRue de Cardinal and waited for 40 minutes. No toot bus appeared. We did download the useless app. We didn’t see a toot bus all day. Surely there are designated stops around the city. We spent 59 euros on nothing , after walking about 8 km. Very frustrating.
