Must do for waffle lovers or those with families! - Traveling with another family with a tween and older child, this was a fantasize experience for all of us! The environment was family focused but provided a safe place for everyone to learn something new and engage with each other on a different level. The waffles were wonderful as well!!
Such a cleaver idea and very well organized!! Must do!!

Fun Family Experience - We had a blast learning about the different types of waffles and making and decorating them. They were delicious and the toppings were varied. The instructors were funny and helpful. The only drawback I saw was that there were only 3 waffle irons and a ton of people needing to use them. I had not even had my first waffle when the instructor called a 10 minute time warning for time to clean up. I'd suggest having at least 4-5 waffle irons available. We were able to take the extra home with us at least.

I do not recommend this workshop - First, let me start by saying that the staff is great and attentive, waffles came out delicious, incredibly delicious. We even took some home and they still tasted heavenly after a couple of days in the fridge.
With that being said, the logistics of the workshop are what left us with a negative feeling about the whole process .
Location: the workshop is located not in a best safest neighborhood (this is purely my opinion). My kids and I walked there and at times I did not feel comfortable. This is an ethnic neighborhood and I would have preferred not to walk there alone with young children.
Second: it is very hard to find the door to the actual workshop. There is no sign on the building/above the door. Just a small white paper posted on the door with printed announcement that this is a waffle workshop. I had to walk around the block a couple of times looking for the place .
Next: I believe there are 4 (or 5 waffle irons). With the amount of people the company books per workshop, they should work on the logistics of using the machines. There were large families up 10 people, with 2-3 bowls full of batter. Each time it takes 3.5-4 minutes to make waffles. These big families will take up machines and won’t leave till they have gone through all their batter. That can be up to 30
minutes wait time for others. Very frustrating. My kids and I had to wait 20 minutes to get to a machine. Perhaps it’ll make sense to take turns, make one set of waffle, step aside and let others use the machine for 1 set, then another family/person etc, make guests rotate. Don’t make them wait for 30
minutes to make 1 waffle. That was very frustrating, especially if you have younger kids who are eager to try waffle. And at some point the staff starts asking you to leave as they have to prepare for the next group and you barely got to a waffle machine after waiting for such a long time.
Next: no staff is present while guests are making waffles, so, again, no one can really organize the line and waiting for a machine. At some point I had to ask a family of 10
people to please let us use a machine for my kids.
Next: we paid PER person but got 1 (!!!!) bowl per family to make batter. That isn’t really fair. We just came back from a Chocolate workshop before that, where we paid per person and got ingredients to make chocolate PER person. Not this waffle place. I paid about €70 for 3 of us at the waffle place and €200 at the chocolate place. You can clearly see the difference which place catered to guests at a much higher levels.
One of the iron machines was broken which we only discovered when we already poured the batter in. Waited 5 minutes into to find out the batter went to waste. No staff was present to check the machines before hand. We had to go look for someone to
Let them know our batter was wasted. Staff did provide us with new ingredients to make a new portion of dough after that
Last: I guess you can’t make people clean up after themselves. Especially if you paid for a workshop. But again, staff wasn’t present to clean up. But the time my family made one set waffles, there were banana peels everywhere, dirty cutlery, dirty dishes…Very unpleasant
Again, waffles came out delicious, but logistics wise and location wise, I would not recommend this place. One of the cases where you get what you pay for. Don’t save on your kids’ memories

Very disappointed - Course only in English. He talks about a guide and we haven’t seen anyone speak French. There wasn’t enough material so we had to be two per shift but we paid well for two

Cancelled a few hours before without valid reason - We booked and paid 1 month in advance and the agreement was confirmed.
A few hours before the event it was cancelled, so it ruined our plans for the day - and a wasted night in Brussels that we'd rather spent in another city.
At least we were called up and the organizer tried to rebook to another day, but since it was our last in Brussels, it could not be used for anything.
Cause of cancellation was that we were 2 registered. Bad style not to carry out the arrangement - they could easily. It does others, even with few enrollments.
But they knew the number of registrations before a few hours before the start, so they could have rescheduled us a long time before, and then we could have put it fit into our itinerary.
