If you’re not a chocoholic before your visit you will be after! - We visited the museum as part of a cruise excursion city tour so we just “went” and we were glad we did. Located near the central train station it was a short walk to the building. Christmas decorations were beautiful and staff spoke English and were very friendly. What a great time! The tour was Disney quality but without the rides. Very well done and informative. After the chocolate tasting we drop some cash in the chocolate store. Excellent quality and good prices.

A great experience - A great place to visit for adults or children. It was well priced at around £10 per entry. You are allocated a timeslot to attend to manage over crowding, although it wasn't busy during my visit. It was an educational visit with lots to see and interact with. The audio guide is part of the tour in various languages. I spent about 1 hour looking around. There was a tasting and demonstration at the end which was great fun. Highly recommended.

Super nice with teens - The walk is simple, the audio devices very easy to use, the explanations about the culture and history of chocolate are very nice. Only downside: a little too many people at once

Very good - The whole visit was very interesting, but without a doubt, the highlight was the part with the cook. Chef Mario was extremely funny and interactive. The experience with him made the visit much more fun. I was also very happy with the shop at the end of the tour, things are not very expensive.

Educational and tasty! - Entry was quick and easy after booking tickets online. Visit included an audio guide which is necessary for your visit. Welcome chocolates were provided which were good quality. You scan each of the audio tiles which gives you information about the different sections. It takes you through the history of chocolate and how it became so popular. Tasters were included while going around the museum and were self-access so you could choose to try as much as you wanted if that’s what your heart desires! Live chocolate making is part of the tour if you are happy to wait. Show times are every half an hour and are worth the wait as the pralines are amazing and the chocolatier was entertaining. If you wanted to purchase more chocolate the shop is at the end and has bags of chocolate which are good value. Would recommend for the chocolate lovers out there! If you’re also interested in beer, book the combo ticket for the choco-story and the Belgian beer world experience for the best value.

We enjoyed it. - It is a real pleasure to discover the history of chocolate from cocoa cultivation to manufacturing techniques. Above all, do not miss the demonstration at the end of the visit!

Definitely visit here if in Brussels - Loved this place. The only issue was a long wait to go in - no reservations available so we queued on the day, but the queue was quite slow. Once we were in it was great! A good audio guide with lots of detail (without being boring) and a live demo which was worth every penny of the entrance fee!

Nice but no more. - I find this kind of museum super nice but really very small, we walk on it at the beginning of the visit we should ration the visits. Don't welcome too many people at the same time what. We'll go around quickly. In 1 hour it is complete. The small machines that serve as translators are pretty cool and super convenient. Demonstration “how to make a praline chocolate” in front of us (in about 15 minutes) by a pastry chef. Too bad it's done in English. We speak only French, it’s not obvious not to have the momentary translation.

Chocolate Museum Brussels - Very small spaces, far too many people. Long and unfun explanations. We did not see the demonstration, because we had to wait 40 minutes for the next one in a small room where we were many. Anyway very disappointed. More history than a real transmission on chocolate.
