You've got to do this when in Brussels!! - It was a very wet day in Brussels when we took the tour, but what a fantastic day we had. Martin was a superb host - full of information shared in an entertaining and engaging way and delivered via a great sense of humour. And lots of credit to Emma for looking after us all - good luck with your graduation next year!! All of the chocolates were mouth-watering and the beers were very welcome to wash all the chocolates down. However, don't do what I did and have three bottles of Westvleteren (even if it's lovely beer) as the walk back to the hotel took a bit longer than it should have!! An absolutely fantastic tour.

Great experience with Martin - Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the tour guide Martin. He introduced us to each other by asking us the countries we come from and we felt welcome and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide tour Martin was extremely good , very funny and has great knowledge of history and for that he deserves special thanks. Martin is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommend!). I really enjoyed walking with about twenty of us through the historic area of Grand Place and centrer Brussels. Even though it was raining, we really enjoyed the walking tour. Martin made it very interesting. The atmosphere was so special that we all felt at home. All respect to Martin who is doing a great job there; a true example of an excellent tourist guide! Once again, many thanks and I recommend Hungry Mary famus beer and chocolate Tour Guide Martin to everyone! Amy did great job as well. We had the best tour ever with Martin and Amy. Mira and Jasmin

A great overview of chocolates and beer - Wow, this did not disappoint. Despite having a hard time finding the starting point- look for a park for the statue..Daphne and Mauwe made sure we got a great variety of world class chocolates and beers we would never have been exposed to. A f great tour to not only eat and drink, but learn about beer and chocolates. Both my husband and I are partially disabled, but we managed this walking tour with only a few slow paces. Not too many hills, and the cool streets kept us all comfortable. The cobblestone would not be good for those with footing issues, but we did it with Mauwe making sure we did not get left behind. We had an appropriate break time for restrooms, and sitting for the beer sampling refreshed us all. The meat, cheese and frites kept us from getting too tipsy. This was my favorite part where we got to sit and talk to our fellow tour members for 15 to 20 min. Do it..it wont dissappoint. Bring an umbrella in case, spot showers are common in Brussels, but we got lucky.

Amazing tour! Do this 100%! - I can’t say enough great things about this tour! The guides, Dan and Julie, were amazing and made everyone feel welcome from the very start. Everything ran smoothly. The chocolate and beers were delicious. We went back and bought some chocolate afterward plus went to the dinner at one of the restaurants Dan recommended. The only thing I forgot to ask was to see if they sold Hungry Mary’s tshirts. I definitely would’ve bought one! Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
