Wonderful Royal Dolphin Swim - We did the Royal Dolphin Swim at the Blue Lagoon. It was an amazing experience. There were only 4 of us doing the swim. The dolphin trainer, Da'von (apologies if I have spelt your name wrong) was amazing and so patient. I was a little worried about the deep water and he did his utmost to make me feel comfortable and he was so patient. The dolphins are so well trained, and we had some amazing photos taken with them. This was an unmissable experience.

Blue Lagoon Island - Thank You, Jaamah! - We had such a wonderful time at Blue Lagoon! My brother and niece did the dolphin swim and absolutely loved it! Laguna was such a sweetie and the whole experience was so interactive and unique. The island was also beautiful and the water was great for snorkeling. As for my cousin and myself, I have to give a special shout out to our host Jaamah, who spontaneously invited us to join the groups for a once in a lifetime experience with swimming with sharks and sting rays! It really felt like everyone on the island wanted each guest to have the best day ever and we definitely did. Thank you for such an amazing time and we will be back in the future!

Blue Lagoon Island - Blue Lagoon Island was a great day trip. We took the ferry and spent time on the beach, in the lagoon and enjoying lunch. The ship crew was very entertaining on the way back. We had a great time. Wish we would have done the dolphins!

Great experience - The island was beautiful and had a lot of great things to offer. We enjoyed the dolphin encounter, and they also had sea lions and swimming with the dolphins. The animals were well trained and very entertaining to see. We also enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course in the water, which was fun for kids as well as adults. The food was good and the beach was wonderful. I would recommend visiting the island.

Don't use the free lockers - This was a great tour. We stayed on Paradise Island so the trip down to the terminal was not a hassle for us at all. The terminal has a couple of kids games like giant tic tac toe and hacky sack, so these helped the time to pass as they ask you to come much earlier than the tour. I would not go as early as they say if I were to go back and do this tour again. They dolphins were great and well trained. They dolphins did a great jobs and it was great to observe them in the water from the walking trails. This was great for kids the gift shop was a little pricey but that is to be expected. The island was clean and the staff were attentive and pleasant, the water obstacle course if fun for all ages and really good at keeping kids occupied though I doubt parents get a nap but a relaxing drink or two maybe. The lunch was ok and limited to fries and a burger or hot dog. If I were to do this tour again I would just go for the experience and get right back on the boat. Boats leave the island at regular intervals and you can ask if you can take an earlier boat if you don't want to stay the full day. The only issue I had was there are a lot of cruiseship tourists on the island and they don't come for the full tour or day experience which includes lunch. I would suggest that you place your items in a waterproof clear bag that you keep on you at all times. I used the lockers without keys it looked secure but when we got back our lunch tickets were gone. There are paid lockers but I don't think these are necessary. Either make all lockers paid or give locks for lockers for a security deposit. They can't be making that much money on lockers.... Don't provide an environment where people's evil nature can get the best of them. The pictures are also expensive and they don't let you take pictures of yourself during the dolphin experience to make you pay for their expensive pictures. Who would steal lunch tickets? Obviously someone on the island that did not pay for lunch. Unfortunately, the large volume of people on the island made this less wonderful. I just don't like big crowds. If you don't mind large crowds this tour is completely fine. The dolphins and sea lions will put you in a good mood!!!!!

A busy beach with every inch covered in chairs - You can’t even see the beach there are hundreds of chairs. Not serene or relaxing at all the way it used to be. Staff slow and unpleasant at the bar. When you are there for a limited time you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes for a drink. We almost missed our return boat when we went to bar to wait 30 minutes before boarding time. For one drink. Tons of broken umbrellas and you have to search for a pin in the sand yourself to keep umbrella open because they are all broken off the chain. Went to the other side of the lagoon to the ocean side and understandably we could not swim because of the strong current. But the lifeguard kept whistling us when we were merely walking in the sand. I also overheard his rude answers to another couple about walking between the rocks. When you book this excursion you are told you can view the animals and sanctuary even if you do not book an animal experience. What they leave out is there are some areas that are restricted such as the shark and stingray area which is a long way to walk to be told you cannot enter. Like I said I have been here twice before and I will not return as it is just a busy beach now which is not my idea of a serene blue lagoon. Also they did not announce return boarding call 15 minutes prior to departure like they said they would be doing.

Totally overpriced - This was extremely overpriced for what we got. It’s basically $120 per person for a ride over to blue lagoon island and a burger or hot dog. Everything else you have to pay for, use of kayaks or paddle boards, or snorkel gear. Not to mention by the time you get there it’s almost 9:00am and you have to leave at 12:45. So you only get to spend about 3 hours in blue lagoon. I have used Viator before and had great experiences but this one was a rip off!!
