A Warm Welcome to Bát Tràng

As a digital nomad, I often find myself seeking out unique experiences that allow me to immerse myself in local culture while keeping my budget in check. When I heard about the Ancient Village Pottery Experience in Bát Tràng, I knew it was something I had to try. While our creations dried, we indulged in a delicious lunch of Banh Cuon and Nem ran. The flavors were a delightful surprise, and the meal provided the perfect opportunity to chat with fellow travelers and share our experiences. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love traveling solo—meeting new people and forming connections over shared experiences.

A Souvenir to Cherish

After lunch, we returned to glaze our pottery pieces. The underglaze painting tools allowed us to add a personal touch to our creations, making them truly unique. As I painted, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in what I had created.

The day concluded with a visit to the pottery market, Chợ gốm Bát Tràng. The vibrant stalls were filled with beautiful ceramics, each piece telling its own story. I couldn’t resist picking up a few souvenirs to remind me of this incredible experience.
