Peles Castle - The journey will continue to Peles Castle, constructed by Romania’s royal family in the 19th century. This palace provides a glimpse into the German Renaissance style of the 19th century.
Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Next, the tour will proceed to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. This impressive structure overlooks a valley from a strategic location and was initially built as a fortress on the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania. Together, the group will explore the link between the legendary ruler, Vlad the Impaler, and the notorious vampire.
Brasov Historical Center - Arrive in Brasov in the afternoon, where guests will be accommodated and embark on a walking tour of one of Transylvania’s most picturesque cities.
Brasov – Biertan – Sighisoara- Sibiu
Biertan Fortified Church - After breakfast, the tour will head to the Biertan Fortified Church, a UNESCO Heritage site, to visit one of Transylvania’s most significant fortified churches.
Centrul Istoric Sighisoara - The next stop is the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, one of the few continuously inhabited citadels in Europe. This is also the birthplace of the legendary Vlad Dracula. The group will visit his house and then climb to the top of the 500-year-old clock tower for a stunning view of the town.
Sibiu - Arrive in Sibiu in the afternoon, where guests will be accommodated and enjoy a walking tour of one of Transylvania’s most beautiful cities.
Sibiu – Cozia Monastery - Curtea de Arges - Bucharest
Cozia Monastery - If the Transfagarasan road is closed, the alternative route via the Olt River Valley road will be taken, with a stop at Cozia Monastery.
Curtea de Arges Monastery - The first stop will be at Curtea de Arges Monastery, one of Romania’s most significant religious centers, where its history will be explored.
Bucharest - Arrive in Bucharest in the afternoon.
