Day 1: BUCHAREST – SINAIA -BRAN – BRASOV (B)

Starting from Bucharest, you’ll journey towards the enchanting region of Transylvania. Your first stop will be at Peles Palace, where you’ll tour the interior. Next, you’ll visit Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle, with our guide. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Brasov. Enjoy a walking tour from the main square to the old City Hall with its clock tower, The Black Church, the two watch towers on the hill, the craftsmen guilds, and the narrowest street in Europe.

Day 2: Brasov – Transfagarasan Balea Lac – Sibiel- Sibiu (B,D)

After breakfast, depart for the Transfagarasan, reaching Balea Lac at 2000 meters in the mountains, where the view is breathtaking. At noon, arrive in Sibiu. Join our guide for a walking tour of Sibiu, visiting the Main Square, The Cathedral, and Liars Bridge. In the evening, head to Sibiel Village, a traditional Transylvanian village, for a homemade dinner in one of the traditional houses.

Day 3: Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara(B)

After breakfast, leave Sibiu to visit the UNESCO Heritage Fortified Church of Biertan. In the afternoon, arrive in Sighisoara for a walking tour with our guide to explore the Clock Tower, the former main entrance of the city, The Church on the Hill, and the Scholars’ Stair.

Day 4: Sighisoara – Bicaz Gorge – Gura Humorului(B)

Depart in the morning towards Bicaz Gorge, with a short stop at Red Lake, then continue to the town of Gura Humorului in the Bucovina region.

Day 5: Gura Humorului – Voronet Monastery – Moldovita Monastery – Sucevita Monastery – Black Pottery Marginea – Gura Humorului (B)

After breakfast, visit Voronet Monastery, where our guide will present the exterior walls. Next, explore Moldovita Monastery, another vibrant old painted monastery. Continue to Sucevita Monastery and end the day at the Black Pottery of Marginea.

Day 6: Gura Humorului – Mud Volcanoes – Bucharest(B)

In the morning, depart from the Bucovina region towards southern Romania. Visit the Mud Volcanoes, a unique site with a landscape reminiscent of Mars. Arrive in Bucharest in the afternoon.
