The journey commences before the hotel premises. Your initial halt will be at the Village Museum - a prominent open-air museum in the Balkans, established by a Royal Order in 1936. Over 60 authentic residences, farms, windmills, watermills, and churches from every historic area of Romania are presented here. The majority of these structures were built in the mid-19th century. The museum also boasts a lovely gift shop and a stand offering traditional Romanian desserts and pastries. Additionally, it houses La Francu, a dining establishment located in a genuine 19th-century inn. The museum is a hit amongst kids and makes for an ideal family day out.
Your subsequent halt will be at the Palace of Parliament for a photo session of the globe’s second largest administrative structure and the notorious legacy of former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. You will spend about 1.5 hours touring the Palace of Parliament.
Post visit, you will return to Unirii Boulevard to view the renowned artesian waterworks.
