A Wonderful Tour - Alina was an amazing tour guide and shared with us a huge amount of information about Romanian Jewish history and the current Jewish footprint in Bucharest. She brought us to the Yiddish Theatre for a fascinating tour of the theatre, and provided us with information on restaurants and other interesting sites in the city. I would highly recommend booking her if visiting Bucharest.

Jewish Tour of Bucharest - Alina was an amazing guide! Not only would I recommend her, I hope to return sometime to have her guide me again. While in Bucharest, I had only a few hours to learn about Bucharest and its Jewish history. She sent me background material before my trip, reached out to many of the Jewish institutions to see who could accommodate my schedule as she designed our tour, and kept me informed each step along the way. Given her relationships with many of the guides and personnel at the sites, she ensured that I had a very special experience. The other local guides were able to focus on my interests and questions. After our tour, she followed up with more material of interest to me and even photos and details of how my donations which I volunteered at various sites had been used. While my family emigrated from Bucharest more than a hundred years ago, the experience allowed me a form of connection and to get a small glimpse of life during that era -- all because of Alina.

A wonderful experience, despite closure of all the sites because of corona! - Alina is a great guide. She knows the material and is enthusiastic about it. She's also a very friendly and pleasant person, with a good sense of humor, so that it is very enjoyable to spend time with her. Definitely recommended for anyone with an interest in Romania's Jewish community, past and present.

Alina Brasoveanu - Alina is a fantastic guide, quite knowledgeable about the Jewish history of Bucharest. She met us at our hotel bringing some welcoming gifts for us. We visited 3 synagogues, one of which was still active. Alina was never in a hurry and was delightful company. We spent time in the active Yiddish theater where she knew the director. She provided us with additional places to visit in Bucharest and reserved lunch for us in the Old City at a delightful local restaurant. We have taken Jewish Heritage tours in other cities; Alina is the best!

Wonderful tour with Alina - We have undertaken quite a few Jewish heritage tours in recent years in different cities. This tour was superb. Alina came to our hotel to collect us. We visited 2 beautiful synagogues & also the Bucharest State Jewish Theatre. The tour overran by over an hour but this was not a problem for Alina who was so knowledgeable. She made recommendations for shopping, dining, cultural visits etc in relation to our interests & provided various online links for further information & research. I strongly recommend Alina if you are interested in this subject.
