Additional Information

While this is a general tour showcasing the same beautiful buildings as other guided tours, we strive to offer a unique experience. Instead of focusing on dates, individuals, architects, or styles—which are often forgotten by the end of the tour—we aim to narrate the story of Bucharest.

Discover how the city emerged when Dracula built a palace here, its oriental appearance influenced by Greek and Turkish cultures, and how the old town evolved into a bustling merchant area. Learn about the transformation from old inns and monasteries to the stunning French architecture of the late 1800s and early 1900s, and how the communists attempted to erase these historic structures. These overarching themes of the city’s development are what will stay with you.

Through Old Town In The Summer - Very good, Daniele told many stories of the history of Romania, explained the details in the buildings, so I could see them and distinguish between styles, all on a hot day when I was the only person on the tour. Her love of her city and history shines through the presentation.

Honestly, best tour guide ever (and we’ve done a lot of tours) - Don’t be suspicious of all the 5 star reviews- she totally deserves them! Absolutely phenomenal, in-depth tour. Covered the history of the city going back to its founding and all the major architectural styles along with modern tourist tips and secret spots. Would highly recommend any of her tours and will definitely call her for future trips!
