Excellent cultural and historical tour. Fantastic Andrea. - Excellent communication from the moment booked. Even if only person has booked, the tour goes ahead. Was just my adult daughter any myself on the day with our exceedingly knowledgeable guide Andrea. She was charming and welcoming, sat down and she gave us the history of Romania - the amount of times power and guidance has changed, how it affected the people and the architecture of the city. The whole tour was excellent, she was great company, excellent English, well travelled and could answer any question we had. The markets were so fresh, and it is clear Romanians take pride in cooking, from fresh.. the samplings were excellent.. Cannot thank Andrea for such a wonderful day, anyone who gets her is going to be lucky. Thank you.

Incredible Food Tour in Bucharest – Highly Recommend! - I had an incredible food tour in Bucharest this December, and I have to say, Andrea was the highlight of the experience. She’s an absolutely fantastic guide—so knowledgeable and passionate about the city. You could tell she really loved sharing the history and stories behind the food and places we visited. The food itself was delicious! The platters of cheeses, meats, and local snacks were amazing, and the plum brandy (țuică) was a standout—smooth, warming, and perfect for the winter weather. Andrea really made the experience special, with her enthusiasm and insight into Bucharest's culture. I had such a great time that I’ve already signed up for the craft brews and graveyard tour. If you’re visiting Bucharest, do yourself a favor and take this tour—Andrea will make it unforgettable!

Really good tour, learning, tasting and walking off the beaten path - Great authentic experience, off the beaten track and loads to try. It was great being able to ask questions and learn about the history with a local guide. Andrea was really easy to talk to, teaching us some words along the way. We had a really enjoyable day.

Bucharest to discover - Very nice experience! Our guide greeted us with a delicious hot preztle! Then we started walking and as we walked there he explained the history of the country and showed some historic buildings and explained their style and history. We had lunch in a place called the terrace, all very good and fresh, then we walked to the market where we saw and tasted other typical foods, we stopped at a famous place near the market to eat the legendary traditional sausages, and I must say excellent! To top it off, we ate dessert, freshly baked hot hot! A treat. A tour not to be missed if you really want to know Bucharest! Our guide was very friendly and really prepared!

Worthwhile and Comprehensive - Alex was informative and eager to please. Wonderful introduction to area. Variety of foods, history, and architectural information. Alex is a pleasant responsive guide. May be light for experienced Romanians but worthwhile as an introduction.
