The best tour - Bogdan has allowed us to learn about the recent history of Bucharest. His level of knowledge and his way of transmitting it has resulted in a very revealing experience. We will continue reading about everything told. We hope that the years lived in Spain have contributed to making him such an interesting guide.

Unmissable tour…. For valuable context - Highly recommend this walk. Bogdan is an excellent storyteller - knowledgeable and passionate. What I learned from his compelling explanations really had an impact on me. Take this tour before you visit Parliament or Casa Ceausescu - you will have a better perspective.

Wonderfully. 100% recommendable - Everything was great with Lavi, we have done the communism tour with her, she has told us many interesting things about Romania and Bucharest in a very pleasant way that kept you attentive the entire time. It has made us understand the reason for many things about the country and its people. It has become super short for us. He also gave us some typical sweets that were delicious. Thank you very much Lavi because you really do a wonderful job and it shows.

Fascinating tour of Communist Era Bucharest. - We did the English language Communist era walking tour with Catalina, and we enjoyed it very much. We had already been to The Museum of Communism, and visited The Palace Of The Parliaments, so we thought there might’ve been a lot of overlap, but Catalina told the story of the post-war regime brilliantly, and she had some fascinating insights into the legacy of the Communist era on the Romanian people. As it was a Saturday, and the weather was good (shout-out to the scouse lads wearing shorts!) there was a large group on this tour, but the guide did her best to ensure that everyone could hear, and ask questions if they wanted. We always try to do a walking tour when we visit a city, as we find it’s the best way to orientate yourself, and see the place through the eyes of a local, and Catalina’s tour successfully did both of these things. The tour was nominally free, but like all free walking tours, it’s understood that you tip the tour guide at the end. So shame on the people who dodged off without tipping the guide. We really enjoyed the tour, we found Catalina to be a friendly, interesting and knowledgeable guide. We would certainly recommend this tour.

Excellent Tour - well done Bogdan Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bucharest for the first time - Bogdan was an excellent tour guide. He made it all very interesting and at times amusing / funny and answered all our questions. Tour was at a good pace and I did the old town and the parliament tour in the morning on the same day. I would highly recommend these tours to anyone wanting to learn about the history of Bucharest. Quite tiring at the end but well worth it.

A great walking tour of Communist Bucharest. - The four of us had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Gabriela. As she was pointing out places of historical significance and discussing the people and events of the Communist period, she wove in many of the personal experiences of her family in a way that brought the era to life. A friendly and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend.
