You’ll learn how Romanian villagers created an ecological and sustainable environment in their own backyards and get a glimpse into their simple, modest lifestyle, living in social and spiritual harmony with their surroundings.
- Calea Victoriei - Victory Avenue - a boulevard featuring communist-era buildings, but also an area where you can admire French architecture!

- Catedrala Patriarhala - The Romanian Orthodox Patriarchal Cathedral, also known as the Metropolitan Church, is a functioning religious and civic landmark located on Dealul Mitropoliei in Bucharest, Romania. It is situated near the Palace of the Chamber of Deputies of the Patriarchate of the Romanian Orthodox Church. As a working cathedral, it hosts many religious holidays and observances for the Orthodox Christian community in Bucharest, including a Palm Sunday pilgrimage. Excellent - I was looking for a Bucharest tour for 3 people and my Google search gave me some choices - one of them being Nicolas Tours.
I called a few and I've got an incomplete response regarding the details. I somehow wanted to personalize my tour.
Last call I made... I was surprised by the kindness and willingness of Nicolas.
I decided to go with Nicolas, I paid half of the amount prior to the tour.
Now... I heard rumours about how unreliable some companies are and I didn't really know what to expect. I even though this guy might not even show up...
It was a pleasant surprise to see Nicolas in front of our hotel 10 minutes earlier. Ready and welcoming!
A clean fresh minibus waiting.
The Bucharest tour with Nicolas was excellent. Personalized the way I requested. Nicolas was easily multitasking - driving and being a perfect guide, talking and explaining whatever was around.
Even he's romanian, his English was excellent. History, dates, architecture, contemporary details, just everything. Any questions has been answered promptly.
A smile, a joke in between, politeness. All in all, highly recommended!
