Fun in the snow, Well worth it. - What a great experience. This was so much fun in the snow ❄️. But what I was really impressed with was our tour guide Idan. He taught us so much about the people, the culture, the area and his own experiences of Romania 🇷🇴. It is a long day with the travelling but so worth it, its not every day you get to drive a snow mobile

The bucket list item we didn't know we had! - Idan picked us up from where we were staying just outside of Bucharest and we drove for around 90 minutes to Sinaia before picking up another group. We had a quick stop outside the castle where Wednesday was filmed and then we moved on to the snow mobiles. Idan had changed this destination in order for us to go somewhere with even better snowfall. We were on the snowmobiles for around 90 minutes and it was truly out of this world. Definitely an experience of a lifetime - absolutely stunning and so much fun. This became a bucket list item that I didn't even realise I had! We took our own thermal trousers etc but trousers, helmets and gloves were supplied if needed. From there, we moved on to Peles castle. There was alot of traffic en route so we weren't able to go into the castle but the outside tour that Idan gave us was still brilliant and we didn't feel like we missed out. We ended the tour with a meal in a tasty, authentic Romanian restaurant in Sinaia - Idan recommended food/drink and handled the ordering for us too! From there, we drove another hour or so where Idan very kindly dropped us off at the airport to catch our flight home. Overall, there was alot of travelling. However, the van was very clean and comfortable and Idan was the perfect tour guide throughout. His knowledge of the country, past and present is phenomenal and so interesting. The time went so quickly, even being stuck in the traffic wasn't an issue - make sure you take drinks, snacks and warm clothes! What Idan doesn't know about Romania isn't worth knowing, he was able to 'read the room' impeccably, always knowing what we needed, how to keep the day moving along and catering to all of our needs. Idan speaks perfect English (among other languages) so there was no language barrier. We are already planning another trip back to Romania where we will be booking another tour with Idan. If you're on the fence, just book it - you won't regret it. Thank you Idan!
