- The Poienari Fortress is currently under renovation and you cannot visit the interior.
- Wearing seat belts is mandatory throughout the journey
- In order not to attract bears please do not bring food into the vehicle
- Feeding bears is strictly forbidden
- When we pass by the wild bears all the windows must be closed

Highlight of our holiday - unmissable! - We had an exciting trip through the mountains to see the bears. Sebastian was a friendly knowledgeable guide who looked after us well. We saw over 10 bears and the comfortable drive through the mountains and lake was just amazing. Definitely the highlight of our holiday. The trip was well planned with sufficient toilet stops and to see waterfalls and the real Dracula's Castle etc.

Excellent Tour 💯 - I had an incredible experience touring Romania with Sebastian as our guide! He brought Dracula's Citadel to life with his engaging stories and deep knowledge, and the highlight was seeing multiple wild bears in their natural habitat. The drive along the stunning Transfagarasan Highway in his clean, comfortable van offered breathtaking views and perfect photo opportunities along the way enjoying the views of the dam and waterfall.
Additionally, we enjoyed delicious traditional Romanian cuisine at Le Lac Bâlea, with Sebastian’s spot-on recommendations enhancing our dining experience. His excellent English and friendly demeanor made the journey unforgettable. I highly recommend Sebastian for anyone looking to explore Romania !

Fantastic tour, definitely recommended! - The tour was fantastic. Our guide Sebastian drove us very safely to all the sights in the air-conditioned van. He was able to give us lots of information throughout the day. It was so cool to see bears in the wild. The glacier lake on the mountain was also a highlight. I can really only recommend this tour. If you don't book it, you're definitely missing out on something in Romania. Thank you again for the great day!

Wonderfull day with bears and beautyfull places - Roxana, our guide for the tour, was very friendly, patient and could tell us lots of interesting things about Romania and its history. The whole tour was exciting and really great.

Exquisite Views - Absolutely excellent tour. Sebastian, our tour guide was wonderful - extremely knowledgeable and fun. The views of the highway and at the Lake were absolutely picturesque. A lovely treat to venture off into the mountains for a break from the hustle of Bucharest.

Great s tour transfagarsan road! - Great comfortable van. The guide sebastian drove safetly and showed us the bears and the other attractions. He added great explanations which contributed to our understanding and joy.
He communucate great with all the 8 person giving ius extra information and important details to our stay in Romania.
I highly recmmend this tour. Doing it yourseld is quite tough driving and you wont be able to know where to locate the bears and saves you time and money of parking.
Sebastian is a great proffesional both driving and guiding the tour. He is also very nice man who cares to each one's needs.

Awesome experience - Amazing safari and views, excellent guide. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it. Seeing the brown bears in their natural habitat is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Fantastic experience - This tour was the highlight of my trip, the bears and the mountain views, absolutely stunning, highly recommended.
The tour guide was great, she was patient, calm and answered all our questions, gave great background and history of the sites.
Our tour always made sure we were comfortable, drive safely and ensured all of us were able to get photos and see the bears, even though it was a small group tour, it still felt like you received individual attention.
All round, 5 stars.

Outstanding - Fantastic tour, the drive is just stunning and the bears were very cute.
Our tour guide was great 👍
she was very informative, we could ask her questions and if she didn't know, she came back to us with answers.
She also made sure we were always comfortable, that we got the photos of the bears 🐻 she always out the entire groups needs first.
Highly recommended.

Once in a lifetime experience - We started early at the meeting point which was easy to find. Then we took a two hours drive and saw the first bears next to the car right away. The cars are air-conditioned modern multivans which are really comfortable. I don’t know how many bears we saw in total, but it was a whole lot. We spotted several cubs next to the car as well. The stops were very interesting too. We were told stories about Vlad aka Fakenews Dracula and had enough time to have dinner up on top of the mountain. There was enough time to take pictures with amazing (!!!) views. The drivers were really careful, the whole trip last 13 hours. I‘d definitely recommend this once in a lifetime experience as someone who travelled a lot and experienced a lot all over the world.
