Must see day trip! - The trip was lovely. The family was excited to explore and we weren't disappointed. Surprisingly Bran Castle was nicer than expected, Peles Castle was unfortunately not open the day we went (check your days) but the exterior didn't disappoint. It was a lovely fairytale Castle set in beautiful scenery, & Brasnov was a large lovely square with plenty of restaurants. Our tour guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable & we feel he helped round out the experience with great details. There truly is something for everyone. I would love to return for hiking.

Superb! - A fantastic trip with an excellent guide. Gabriel had a vast knowledge of Romania and Transylvania. We were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

In the heart of Transilvania - It was an extraordinary experience to visit the Transilvania Castles. Our guide Claudiu, was excelent and offered to complement our visit with the panoramic route of Transfagarast and the bear woods. We were even able to see foxes on the road.

Highly recommend Peleş castle - Tour guide was great and Peleş castle was amazing. Brân castle is a tourist trap and wasn’t with it. If you do want to go though make sure you get the fast pass otherwise be prepared to wait in line.

Private tour but felt like Uber - We booked a private tour and to be quite honest you can save yourself the money and just get a Uber to these locations. Our driver was nice and somewhat informative but ultimately served no real purpose since he did not tour the castles with us and did not walk around Brasov with us. You basically get dropped off and tour everything alone which is no issue if you're into that kind of thing. Overall not the worst experience but definitely not the best.
The Peles castle was worth all the hype, simply beautiful. There was some construction in progress but it was mostly accessible. There were the random stray dogs roaming outside but they were friendly.
Bram castle was a bit of a let down with the torture area being the highlight of the tour. Unfortunately, this was an extra cost strongly enforced. There were areas that were not available die to construction and videos playing in many most of the rooms. Be prepared for a steep entrance that requires some endurance.
The marketplace was full of vendors with similar items and crafts.
We stopped in Brasov for a while where we dined on KFC and Starbucks, lol. The popular sign was hidden behind the fog most of our visit but we managed a glimpse before departing.
