Highlights
  • Ateneul Roman - Meet with your guide and set out for your Transylvania trip.
  • Peles Castle - Start your day trip with Peles Castle (inside visit), set in the scenic mountain resort of Sinaia, also called the Pearl of the Carpathians. Tour the Romanian royal family’s former summer residence, which showcases a magnificent palace in the German Renaissance style. Built at the foot of the mountains between 1873 and 1914 by Carol I, the first Romanian king, the palace is considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Europe.
  • Brasov Historical Center - Next is the town of Brasov, previously known as Kronstadt. Its well-kept historical center filled with centuries-old homes connected by small streets paved with cobblestone retains its German medieval charm. Your walking tour of this lovely town starts from the main square, which features the Gothic Black Church (BisericaNeagră
  • inside visit), old City Hall, watch towers, walls around the former citadel, and the narrowest street in Europe.
  • Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Final stop at Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle (inside visit). The imposing construction, originally built as a fortress at the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania, looks out over a valley from its strategic position. The function of this medieval landmark is evident through its grandiose towers as well as its winding narrow staircases and passages. 3 trips in 1 - It's a very early start 7am and a long day, back at 730pm, but worth it. All 3 places are fabulous. Brasov is a beautiful place with great restaurants to have lunch in.

Good variety - Emmanuel was our tour guide, he rearranged the order of the tour on the fly and it was a great decision. We went to Bran Castle first and avoided the crowds. A nice 2 hour break in Brasov gave good time to explore and enjoy lunch, and finished in Peles Castle. The bus was full, and I was traveling alone, but it was fine and comfortable. Good value and covered a lot of ground over a full 12-hour day.

Castles and Charm - We signed up for the excursion drawn by the curiosity of Dracula’s (Bran) Castle. Personally, it was somewhat underwhelming. However, the visit to the quaint town of Brasov was charming and lunch at Le Ceaun was delicious with goulash, cabbage rolls, and the amazing dessert pastry! Peles Castle is a technological and architectural masterpiece not to be missed. Our guide/driver was very personable, knowledgeable and pleasant.

What a trip!! - What a fantastic trip! You get to see a whole different/beautiful side to Romania! Our guide Pravel was absolutely amazing! His knowledge was out of this world and his ability to sweet talk us to the front of queues even better! His recommendations for food and sights in Brasov were great and I felt very safe in the mini van with him. I highly, hight recommend you pay the extra money and go with the Mini Group option. We were able to beat alot of the big buses of tourists so our experience was less crowded, more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall fantastic trip, would really recommend!

Dani! - The palace is impressive. My personal point of view that it is one of the most impressive ones I have visited for it’s technology applied, the art and decor with the colors and how it’s designed for human - not outdated at all. Would love to have had more time in Brasov. Eating lunch there took up the whole free time and failed to visit the beautiful little town. Apart from the spots, our tour guide Dani is amazing! Love his vibe and energy and sense of humor. Right on spot! He is responsive on communication and make sure he answers your questions. And he has a nice speaking voice.
