Good guided tour - Nice Guide. Fast paced, but you wouldn't manage to see everything, if not. Very timely. We had some free time to see the castle and the city on our own. Would recommend

Great Experience - Great trip! I'd highly recommend Tudor as a guide. The only suggestion would be for those that are consistently late past the departure times should probably be left behind since it's a fairly large group.

Overall, pretty good experience. - The experience within itself was great. Vlad had constant communication with us and gave us plenty of recommendations not just for this excursion but for our stay in Bucharest. Reading past reviews, we were worried about the time constraints but can honestly say, this was not an issue. Vlad made sure everyone was present before leaving and made sure everyone had what they needed. The experiences themselves were... Okay. Prepare to queue for peles castle (also confronted by other external rude tour guides who were pushing ahead in the line). Vlad tried to accommodate for this but this was out of his control. Climb to Brans castle, definitely not accessible. Please be careful if you have any medical needs. Additionally, when we went it was snowing and icy, resulting in lots of people falling over. Please wear suitable shoes. Overall, however, it was a great experience and Vlad was absolutely lovely. Recommend the company highly, just keep in mind about the activities themselves.

Not worth it. - Completely miss sold trip. If your idea of a great day out is to que in the cold for over 2 hours then this is the one for you. When we booked, the trip was for 12 hours, 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. We were told to be at the pick up by 7.10, in a text the day before, and if we were late we would not be waited for. Promptly arrived, difficult to find the guide as he held the sign with his name in, the wrong way round so you couldn’t see it! After a lot of walking up and down to find him, we were told to cross the main road to the coach, there were 2, not specified which to get in to! We were told when we departed at 7.18, that there were 3 rules, the first NO FOOD on the coach AT ALL, or drinks. Never be late, they would not wait, and 3, if we wanted anything text the guide, do not leave our seats. First stop was at a petrol station to use the 2 toilets available and we were to be back in the coach within 15 minutes. 3 coach’s stopped there, you work out the maths. No chance to wee and eat. Next stop Peles castle. Very treacherous pathway covered in ice down to the castle. We had been told there were no toilets available there, they had a problem with their water. Nice. It said on the booking info that being on a tour we would miss the queues. We were queuing for over 2 hours. It was freezing. There was no information to why. The castle was covered in scaffolding so the most beautiful castle was not even to be seen! Inside amazing, but by this time I was feeling quite sick and faint, no food or drink yet, and standing for 2 hours in 3 degrees, was not helping. My friend was absolutely freezing. Back in the coach and off to the next petrol station for a wee with about 80 other women, 3 cubicles. We were then asked if we wanted to eat at Draculas castle or later at Brazov. It was now gone 1.30, it was another hour or so to the next castle, and the rest of the coach (mostly Italians, who had been eating in the coach 🙄) decided a longer stop at the Brasov stop. Draculas castle not as ornate but interesting all the same, loads of steps, up to the castle snd in the castle. Little market to look around, and managed a hot chocolate from a vendor, then back on the coach! Next stop Brasov. When we got there, we were supposed to have a walking tour. This comprised of following the guide to one building to tell us a bit of that history then to the square to wander ourselves. Finally got some food, although by this time I was feeling so sick I ate very little. Coach again, 5.55 sharp. We waited 10 minutes for the coach to arrive. We finally got back to Bucharest at 9.40. A very long day. To sum up, if you have all the time in the world. Never need to eat or pee, and enjoy the cold, go for it!
