A Wonderful Journey to Peles Castle, Bran Castle, and the Town of Brașov - Our trip to Peles Castle, Bran Castle, and the charming town of Brașov was nothing short of extraordinary. The entire experience was impeccably organized, making it an unforgettable day. The transfers were seamless and comfortable, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Romanian countryside. The timing was perfect—each stop was well-paced, giving us ample opportunity to explore and soak in the beauty and history of each location without feeling rushed. Peles Castle left us in awe with its opulence and intricate design, while Bran Castle transported us to the heart of Transylvanian legend and history. Brașov, with its picturesque streets and vibrant atmosphere, was the perfect way to end the journey. Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. They provided fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of each site, making the experience not only enjoyable but deeply enriching. In short, this trip was truly exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the magic of Romania.

Great value day out - It is a long day and an early start but well worth doing and great value for money. Our guide Emmanuel was excellent just the right amount of information. He ensured all ran to time which given the number of stops and the travelling was needed

Well worth it!! - Our tour guides Alex and Nico were fantastic. Funny and full of knowledge. It was Nico's first day of training and he was terrific. I loved hearing not just the history of the castles and Romania but also Alex's personal tales of growing up in this wonderful country. Our driver Johnny did a great job navigating the roads and Bucharests car park like traffic. The castles were beautiful and the weather suitably atmospheric for Transylvania.

Organization and precision - Highly recommended tour! Very good organization, the only flaw is the little time between one excursion and another. Quite tiring, but absolutely worth it!! It allows you to visit Bran Castle, where the legend of Dracula was born thanks to the Irish writer Bram Stoker, the typical Brasov town where you can walk among pretty Christmas markets and the Neo-Renaissance castle of Peles. Our tour operator, Lucian, was very nice and explained in detail history and curiosity about the places we went to visit, also speaks excellent English and is easy to understand! The Italian tour was also available but we preferred the English one to get away from our beloved homeland, there being many Italians in Romania. A tip that we give you: if you go to visit it in the colder months, cover yourself well because we also caught the snow!!

Through the snow and rain - Despite rain and snow the tour guide made each part of the tour interesting and informative. The team of the driver and guide managed the difficult logistics of two castles and Brasov very well and safely.

It was just ok. Go in summer...it may be better - The wait at Peles Castle was 1 hour and 15 minutes. We just stood there in the cold. No apparent reason....the line just wasn't moving. Once we got in, it took less than an hour to see the whole thing. Lots of driving. Bran Castle has their stuff together more. Right in, no waiting. Not a ton to see, but still worth going. Stop in Brasov about 1.5 hours was fine. Long (3.5 hour) ride back. Our guide, Vlad, was good. Tough to understand on the microphone. Didn't really need a guide for this tour. Not the best tour I've ever taken.

Don't use One Excellence for this tour! - Poor tour guide and toilets not available on bus, even though they exist The tour guide, Dani, ruined this trip. His knowledge is poor, he is arrogant and he clearly finds the guests very annoying, as he is frequently rude to them unless they are female, blonde and young. If you are not, he is the Basil Fawlty of tour guides, but without the humour, more of a sneer. He gave out very basic information now and again, but spent most of the trip either on his phone scrolling the Internet, chatting to the driver or asleep! The toilets on the coach are unavailable as they don't want to clean them at the end of the trip, so be prepared to hold your bladder for many hours, as there are very limited toilet facilities at the stops, even in the cafes if you buy a drink, and the coach will leave you behind if you are not back on time. No doubt the Guest Relations Manager will berate this review and leave a nasty response. If you take a look at his responses to any critical feedback, it will tell you all you need to know about this company and the way they behave! I look forward to his extremely rude reply :-)
