Adrian here, your 100 % Romanian insider. We will start the tour from the Old Town and walk mostly alongside Calea Victoriei Chic Boulevard. We will see some of the most famous landmarks of Bucharest while:
You will travel back in time when “Paris of the East” experienced its prime but also when the Church was one of the biggest employer (Bucharest having the nickname of “the city of 1000 churches”), you will hear stories about bad communism and very bad communism, we will see the site of a former prison right in the heart of the city center and you will found out how they took advantage of the love of Romanians for gambling to built something unexpected.

Evening walk - Great guide and a very informative tour would highly recommend and all done at a leisurely pace suitable for the older age group

Just go! It's great! - Great little tour, the lessons at the last 2 stops were best. Very responsive to questions. I would change two things if I could go again. I wish the tour was a little longer with stop(s) inside of some things. Of course for a bit higher price. Also a simple map of the tour route and other things to see in old town from Adrian would be awesome!
Adrian was friendly, well spoken, monitored the group and have a great tour!

Interesting and pleasant tour. Our guide paid attention to all his guests and answered all questions. We recommend this tour. - Tour covers the major landmarks of the city. Excellent tour for a first overview of Bucarest. We were lucky on saturdays Victoriei calea is reserved to pedestrians.

Fantastic - Highly recommended! Adrian is excellent, knowledgeable, amusing, answered all our questions. It was like having a walk and conversation with a friend.
He also recommended a restaurant for dinner which was authentic and delicious

Delightful Bucharest (Old Town & Victory Avenue) - The tour was really amazing. We learnt many things about the history and the culture of Bucharest and we visited many beautiful sites. Also the tour guide was very kind and willing to help us and answer our questions. I will definitely recommend it!!!

A fun and informative tour by a hardworking local - Found this tour online and conveniently it started right in front of the hotel where I was staying in Bucharest. Adrian was a fun tour guide and knowledgeable about the history and context of his home country Romania. I also took delight in supporting a local hardworking individual and would recommend his tour to anyone who is visiting Bucharest and looking to get oriented around the old city center.

Friendly, articulate, interesting & fun - Spontaneous tour I organised for friends, learned lots about the history of Bucharest, discovered some hidden gems and he was able to put up with my friends wanting a beer at every turn. Was a great 3 hours can highly recommend!
