Excellent market tour with a passionate local - If you love food, if you love markets, this is the tour for you. Andrew was a brilliant guide. I could write an essay about the awesome aspect of the tour, but I willl just say this… I left there feeling like I got a genuine local’s experience of the market, very very full and like I had made a friend. Andrew, if you ever make it to Australia, come for a barbecue! DO NOT EAT BEFORE THIS TOUR

Amazing tour filled with food, fun, facts and more - Our tour with Andrew of Budapest's Central Market Hall exceeded our expectations. Andrew is the perfect tour guide: so passionate about his culture, its history and its food. You felt like you were with a dear friend strolling through their neighborhood market. He had quite the sense of humor particularly when we sampled food that might not have been to our taste. He shared the history of the market and how it has evolved over the many years. Book a tour with Andrew to really gain an insight into the food, culture and history of Hungary, Budapest and this amazing market. Great way to cap off our visit to Budapest.

Market, Food & Coffee Tour with Borcha - Borcha from JayWay was our tour guide. She was great fun. We enjoyed everywhere we went. We had an excellent lunch at Ghetto Gulash, then coffee at My little Melbourne restaurant.

A awesome private tour - Andrew was a great guide with lots of local & specialist food knowledge along with a good dose of history. All of our food samples were carefully curated and delicious! Our small group tour ended up being just the two of us which meant we could spend extra time in the spits that interested us most. Thank you Andrew for a memorable couple of hours. M & P

Morning Tour of Market - My daughter and I did the Budapest Market Tour with Andrew on a Saturday morning in July. We were late due to the tram taking a rest stop but luckily Andrew waited for us. He has tons of stories and information about Budapest and kept us laughing. The food samples were interesting not always to our liking but he was never offended, the best sauerkraut I have ever tasted. Thanks Andrew for a fun filled morning.

Eat, drink and learn - Andrew was a knowledgeable and entertaining host for for our market tour, coping admirably with our complicated dietary needs (1x gluten free meat eater, 1x vegetarian). Lots of tasty morsels of food and knowledge to keep your appetite saited. Highly recommended, we enjoyed the small intimate group which meant anyone could ask a question and get to hear the answer. Be warned, the tour starts with a shot of Palinka (for the drinkers in the group), so make sure you partake in the langos to soak up the fruity alcohol.

Awesome and informative visit to the market - My husband and I had a delightful visit with Andrew, who shared historical facts and context coupled with all kinds of Hungarian delights (some more accessible than others, but all fun to try). He clearly loves food and is an expert on distilling, and we had a great time sharing everything from pickled baby watermelon to sour cherry streudel. Would recommend to anybody who loves to learn about food and people.
