Embark on a roughly two-hour journey around the outer areas of the Buda Castle district at night, where you’ll hear chilling historical facts and the gory aspects of Hungarian history from the 15th to 17th centuries. Meeting Point is at the Zero Kilometre Stone in Clark Adam Square. Buda side of the Chain Bridge, at the bottom of the castle hill, a few meters away from the funicular entrance.
Look for your storyteller who will be wearing a period outfit and carrying an oil lantern

Joe Was Great - Communication was great. Joe was a good guide. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He told some great stories. The walk, though long, was manageable.

Fabulous night - What a fabulous tour ! Jo was a sensational guide and story teller
The meeting point is at the bottom of the funicular . You then proceed up the stairs and path to Buda castle . You will have the option to catch the funicular up which will mean you miss a couple of stories.
One great thing about this tour, at most storytelling points there is a sitting area which was really handy in the heat
The stories about vampires are just fascinating and it’s a great way to see Budapest in the cooler of the evening versus the hot sun. Even better as it gets dark
You will end at fishermen’s bastion at night overlooking Parliament House for those amazing photo opportunities

Great stories and lovely wander around the Buda side of the city. - Jo regaled us with tales with several vampire stories. He was a great storyteller and entertainer. I would recommend this trip. Good price, and we set off at the allocated time, and finished as expected.

Story telling in Buda castle area - Maybe after reading so many positive reviews I had high expectations. I have to say our guide (Fabian) was trying to be as engaging and entertaining as possible. But I thought the stories would be somehow more related to the monuments around. Or at least have some info about them. Plus the group was quite large and there were couple of concerts and people partying around so it wasn’t very beneficial to the tour spooky ambiance. Anyway if you enjoy ghosts and urban legends stories give it a shot. In any case Budapest is always lovely to check out at night.

Awful exeperince,stories sound the same was not what we were expecting. However tour guide was good & seen some lovely buildings - Thought it would be scary, never seen the castle. Stories sounded similar Felt like we just went a walk. However some beautiful buildings & the tour guide was good (Joe).
