Must do this tour! - Fabian told some pretty creepy stories. Our group had so much participation. Be advised you hike up to the castle and walk all over the grounds.

Unique, fun walking cave tour. - Learning about the development of the caves, the residents below, how long and deep the caves were & how they became bomb shelters during the war with shafts for ventilation. As we walked through the caves our guide pointed out specific locations above ground to orient us. This tour was fun, exciting & very unique. Would highly recommend.

Fang-Tastic tour! - Our storyteller, “Joe” was absolutely brilliant! He was professional, polite and very funny. As a storyteller myself, it was a joy to just stand back and watch (and listen! Most of all, listen) a fellow performer not only tell his vampiric tales with aplomb and knowledge. Joe also listened to every question and handled them with courtesy and friendliness. The tour starts from the Zero Kilometre Stone and goes up the stairs to the castle stopping outside Matthias Church. Joe did say that if you wanted or needed to you could use the funicular, which I thought was a very decent thing to do. None of our party needed to use it as we could all make the stairs, but this would useful to know for others who may need it in the future. I’ve been inspired to base my next podcast episode on one of the tales Joe told, and my wife now wants to make one of those goose-spirits so it can do everything around the house! A very fun evening and definitely should be on your ‘To do’ list in Budapest.

Enthusiastic storytelling. - Our guide, Joe, was very enthusiastic and did a good job of navigating the construction around the palace. The stories were good, but not directly related to our surroundings.

Very interesting but no action - We booked the tour through an app and met at the chosen time. Our guide Joe led us through the tour. A very funny and interesting guy who told us lots of stories with a few stops. Unfortunately we missed the action and maybe some specials or access to the castle. The tour was a bit long... but overall we really enjoyed it.

Something different - Interesting evening although not what I expected. Joe was a good story teller if you liked to hear stories of vampires. It's a nice walk around Buda in the dark without the tourists.
